Yes. On the same day he was asked for his data. Nothing weird about that at all. In fact having been in this thread for a few weeks I now realize most celebrities and athletes do this regularly.
Saw that.. And couldn't tell if he was being serious or sarcastic. Grandpas are hard to read.
Just got around to listening to the Bomani Jones podcast from last night and there's a really good conversation with Dave Wetzel at Yahoo sports about how shit the NFL has been with this whole thing. Starts at about the 16:20 mark and goes to about 26:00. Truth bombs.

It was the same day. After he told them he would not give him the data and they said he was not required to. No different than if he tossed it in a drawer and threw away the key.
Does it really matter now - we know the NFL has all the text messages Brady sent to the equipment guys and Patriot's coaching staff. The meta-data call log that Brady provided confirms as much.

He was never going to hand over his phone. And seeing everything the Patriots did hand over, there was no reason to need his phone. The phone is a red herring to get people who don't really care about facts to just instantly blame Brady.
Totally and him destroying it that day is just a coincidence.

He destroyed it AFTER telling them they would not get it, and they agreed that it was not needed.
Once again, they had all the info from the phone including call and text logs.
Love how it was all about the air pressure.. But then when the science proved them wrong, instead of admitting they didn't understand psi gas law bs.. They doubled down by refocusing on the phone.
It makes him look guilty. Guilty people do irrational things. Even if lawyers would say it's unnecessary.

There's no relevance. The NFL leaked it to SAS in yet another sad attempt to slander Brady, much like Goodell's assertion/lie that Brady said all of his conversations with the ball guys before the SB were only about the SB. That's slanderous. I don't know if Goodell is pure evil, incompetent, or he just thought that because he and the league said they'd never unseal the documents that no one in the public would ever get to see what a liar he was. And besides, even if the league did want the phone, the NFLPA rightly was never going to allow that to happen.
You don't count. He was guilty in your eyes before he was even born.

His jersey is irrelevant. His team cheated before, and it's obvious he cheated again. You would have to suspend disbelief to imagine Brady didn't have a Pats employee tamper with those balls.
also the NFL was very wise to use the word "destroy". makes it sound like Tom went all breaking bad on his phone and snapped it in half after making incriminating calls/texts. in reality he probably just threw it away.
...or, maybe, you'd have to look past one's own infantile biases against sports teams you don't root for.

You mean the footballs that were proven to not be statistically significantly deflated (as in, there was no competitive advantage) in comparison to the control balls?

And all of them have hard evidence. On camera and audio.
While you are at it, we also have evidence of McNabb throwing up all over himself in the huddle on tape. You should go watch that! I think it was more probable than not that he was actually deflating a ball.

Ah, those innocent days when we thought the NFL could be trusted. In the transcripts that were recently released, Wells refused to comment on the NFL's involvement with his report before it was published, claiming attorney/client privilege.

We have proof Goodell has lied in the Wells report. Hell a federal judge has called him a liar.
Brady didn't fully cooperate.. Which in hindsight was pretty smart considering how Goodell has lied and manipulated what Brady has said.

Why they were destroyed? is anyones guess. I have heard there were alot of crouch shots of cheerleaders and they were afraid if it got out the nfl would be sued.
Spygate was about WHERE they were taping, not WHAT they were taping btw. So no matter what was on the tapes, its a moot point.
