Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Official - Operators Gameplay Trailer

So hoping to get into the beta, I'm not pre-ordering (will never do this again) - but I'd really like to try the game out as it looks so good.

Please let it turn out well, i sorely need a new Rainbow six.

going to keep a close eye on this one. Not hyped just yet but my interest is definitely piqued. Just so much coming out this year already though.

I highly doubt the Division is coming this year. Unless they give us a date at E3 don't expect it.

But with MGO and Battlefront this year it's going to be hard for me to juggle another multiplayer game. Hope this game lives up the expectations though.

Can always pre order on amazon, get code, then cancel it. no $$ exchanged from your hands :)

Love people complaining about the visuals. It's fucking alpha, they have textures that just say "alpha" on them. Chill the fuck out

This is why developers have to take months out of the development schedule to create a vertical slice that might not be representative of the finished product.

If gamers as a whole would reduce their ignorance, then we could see a more steady flow of information.

Neat, i did just that and got the beta email instantly and then cancelled the order, all done within 2 minutes :D.

Just watched the 6 minute gameplay demo and i have to say, i really do not like the hit markers or the seeing team mates outlines - that looks totally out of place in this sort of game.

I can't see these two titles and the next Assassin's Creed all coming out this holiday season. I bet The Division is a 2016 title.

Don't think so. This has Q1/Q2 2016 written all over it. Besides, Rainbow Six looks great and I think should do pretty well for them so they don't have to push The Division out this year.

You guys are probably right. That game will likely be March, to boost their end quarter numbers.

I didn't know Siege was going to have a campaign, that's really cool.

I was a little worried the game would be too simple/predictable after the recent "leaked" alpha footage but this new info alleviates those concerns.

so 20+1 unique "classes", prob 10 per side. What is encoraging is the latest behind the scenes vid says each player needs to pick a unique class which should help balance the gameplay and allow for some variety in tactics rather than 5 players picking an OP build

still waiting to hear about campaign and/or the return of terrorist hunt, but im sure this will be near the end of the slow drip of information releases

T Hunt is back don't worry

I really hate saying it, truly, but there's definitely a graphical downgrade, particularly with the particle effects.

Ubisoft gonna Ubisoft.
It's alpha...E3 was a vertical slice of what they're aiming at.

Anyway, can't wait for more of these nonsense remarks as well as "it's just CoD".

Did you play games before watchdogs?

This will be more of relief not because everyone is over powered, but because not everyone is under powered nonobjective based sniper. The bane of objective modes!

Looks so freaking good.

I'm not holding my breath that this is a 2015 release - my guess would be Q1/2016. Especially if Ubi wants people to care about The Division this year.

Im going to hold you accountable for this confident statement and if you are wrong I will quickly forgive you and provide a shoulder to cry on, friend

Had a buddy on the dev team that I met up with 2014 GDC who kinda leaked all sorts of info about it to me and then confirmed it was showing at e3. So far he hasn't lied to me :P. He said T Hunt is in.

YASSS

I think Shinobi promised me the same.
Ofcourse, i'll tickle him to death if it turns out to be a lie.

fair punishment, but Shinobi is a good ninja gaffer, only tickle him the brink of death and let him live

Thanks Blim!

definitely looks promising, not sure I personally have the patience for these types of games anymore but anything to help mix up the MP shooter genre is welcome IMO.

I saw an ad for this on Gametrailers today. It confused me. It made me think it was coming out soon and I just didn't realize it. Sadly, that isn't the case.

I'm willing to preorder this just for the beta.

Will Amazon email it to you?

Yes, within a few minutes of pre-ordering the beta code is emailed to you (at least it should be) - then you can keep the pre-order or just cancel it afterwards..

i placed my order at 5:57pm and got the beta code at 5:58pm.

Yea theirs definitely is a downgrade from the original reveal (though never believed it would end up that good on consoles).

That said this looks like actual graphics though I'm not gonna be getting this game due to being to focused on teamwork/ mp and not my kinda thing.

Hitmarkers definitely need to go no matter how action oriented this game is. They play too big a role when spraying blindly, revealing enemies you didn't even know were there.

Hopefully someone on the PC testing team suffers from motion sickness because at least the PC Gamer footage is from the PC version with FOV that qualifies as unplayable for plenty of people.

Not really digging all the gadgets and building stuff really. Wish it was just more pure tactical, with great destruction, level design and a smattering of practiical and realistic gadgets, like explosive chargers and stuff.

I just dont ever see a situation where people brining baricades or make shift barrier/sheilds would ever happen. As well as the little RC Camera thing. Not that something like that doesnt exist, but the way it's used and works is just very gamey.

Anyways, looks fun, but all that stuff makes it feel pretty cheesy to me.

Oh maaaan, that trailer reminded me just how badly I need a true tactical shooter in my life again. One of the few games I'm actually looking forward to, for a change.

High potential to be my go-to MP game.

Would really hope they rethink hitmarkers, UI telling me when my teammate passes away, and the Heartbeat sensor
