I did, it's nowhere.
I mean, I have to study for exams anyway, but I could've squeezed in 30 min per day.
I really wanted to see how good it looked and ran on XBO, because I have it pre-ordered for PS4 as well and can't decide which to keep. I guess I'll have to wait for the beta to see how it runs.

How long does it take to get a code from ubisoft after I put my preorder code into their site?
I wouldn't expect you to be at the top of the queue if you only entered a code today. But hopefully by end of day tomorrow.

I'm super late to the party but ready for the Alpha. Haven't been following much so I apologize if this is known....
Anybody know if there is a FPS view mode even when aiming down sight? Seems like there needs to be (or I really hope there is) with the focus on weapon customization and parts etc. if there isn't I guess there won't be any optic modifications/parts? Any info?

I got my Alpha code this morning as soon as the news hit, and I signed up for the Beta the day sign ups started. Hopefully you get your code and everything works out.My Xbox account is registered for the beta, but I haven't received any alpha code via the linked Uplay account's email.
This same thing happened with Black Ops 3 beta, where people who registered long before the beta only received their codes after the beta had started, and people who had registered on the day before the beta had received access codes immediately.
Pretty frustrating.
I am really excited for this. The game looks like what o wanted out of Destiny with a huge open world. This kind of MMO light game is very appealing, but Destiny just feels completely lifeless to me with most of the areas in the game being completely barren, and the extreme lack of content is really off putting for this kind of game. I have a lot of faith that The division will deliver on the world and amount of content in it since its Ubisoft behind it, and they are open world masters IMO. I really hope they get the gameplay structure right in this. I want dungeons in unique areas that offer enough reason to replay them.
Third person but guns are customizable.

There's a zoom, but it doesn't snap into a first person ADS. I'm not quite sure if there's a scope view with the Marksman rifles or things with scopes.
I still smile everytime someone else calls out the door shutting. Who knew that animation would be so memorable?
If that some how gets cut, prepare for down grade hell.

How do you see how many hours there's left until the alpha begins? And is that 54 hour and 45 minutes? Can't be if it start tomorrow.

This game is going to be insanely good. The Division will only act as a filler for it, I just hope it'll be a good enough one to last for a while, cuz Ghost Recon ain't showing it's face for us to play anytime soon. I'm thinking 2017.
Not until it's out and I try it for myself.

Yea the next Ghost looks amazing! I was hoping The Division had gunplay like that. Here's hoping enough make a stink after this Alpha and the Beta to warrant snagging some help and implementing the same thing. I can't see how simple cross hairs over the shoulder are considered adequate in a game like this with so much customization and tactical potential... I just can't.

Alpha is based on priority.
Preorders -> Key Redemptions -> Waiting List
Keys are being sent in waves over the course of the next two days for wave one, and during the C.A.T during the testing phase to test infrastructure.
You can skip the "line" by getting direct download codes, but they are few an far between.
Direct questions to me, and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability, but know there are alot of things I cant talk about yet.

I feel like Ubisoft should address everyone's concerns with this game or make some kind of statement. Everyone fears the game will be pushed back again and reading all these negative comments is getting pretty annoying. I guess we'll get to see in about 16 hours but the negativity surrounding the game is obvious.
So having beta access from pre-order is no guarantee of getting into the alpha?

I don't think so.....It guarantees you beta access which got pushed back to January instead of being this month. They just instead offered to give....what seems to be most beta players access to alpha by luck of the draw or redemption.

The game is 100% coming out on March 8th 2016. There is absolutely no need to worry. Unless there is something that is so gamebreaking that QA never found, I dont see any reason to push the game back in its' current form.

Is the betrayal mechinism better than what it looks like? One of the very few things I don't like, I'm quite intrigued overall.
Well no one must be pre ordering then lol. Because my friend and I pre ordered yesterday, put in our code and got alpha access inmediately.

Well the marketing for the game hasn't been super visible lately then take into account that the game will be on Xbox, PS, and PC... then the fact that "Beta pushed back" focused on moreso than "December Alpha" was in headlines...
It all adds up to less of a rush for pre-orders than is usually typical of Alpha and Beta tests.

Why would they delay a beta that was supposed to come out soon and push out an Alpha? Alpha what, 4 months before release? Just seems strange to me. November is my guess.

Yeah this seems really annoying, I'll be tired of it happening after the 3rd or 4th time. Hopefully they put in some good reasons not to betray.
Randomly generated looks that you can keep re-rolling is what I saw. So we can see the variety without messing around with character creation basically.
