lol i thought he was a nice guy. there is no reason to go off like this. just fire the folks and be calm. no need to throw a hissy fit.

Lame.

He's right. If I see any of you Gaffers breaking Covid protocols I'ma slap the shit out of you.

Sure, Karen.

Agree with Cruise here, given how strictly these films are being run at the moment. Any screw-up means a ripple down the line, with everyone being out of work, and the theater tradition being even more imperiled. You might not like it, I don’t, but it’s the reality.

Honestly, I think it’s cool he has that perspective. As someone else mentioned, you wouldn’t expect it from someone in his position.

Apparently he yelled at them cause they stood less than one metre apart from each other...

Yeah Tom, I'm sure sick days taken by cast and crew for Flu impact the bottom line too.. Oh wait!

Mask up forever Xenu.

He and the director literally rented out a private island to get this film finished.

There's impacting the bottom line and then there is trying to save the industry and making sure people have jobs so they can support their families.

His anger here is absolutely justified.

It's Hollywood - I might try and muster up a tear but would probably blow out a heamharroid in the process 🍇

He wants people to forget that time he looked like a clown, sharing an awkward video of him visiting a theater to watch Tenet back in August lol

Someone like Cruise has the platform to singlehandedly rescue the industry he's watching collapse by exposing the PCR test fraud. Props to him for playing by the rules and protecting his baby as fiercely as he does, I could see myself behaving that way if I were in his shoes, but being so obedient and unquestioning is why everyone's in this mess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He's trying to slap them into shape because sometimes that's what it takes to understand the severity of the situation. Maybe it was an overreaction, I have no idea. I do not know how many times Cruise asked them politely to follow protocol before going off on them.

What I do know, is that as a boss, whose hard work is responsible for thousands of jobs on the line, that their production, which is being held up as an example of "how to do it right", is being heavily scrutinized. If they fuck up at all, they have to shut down and that has real consequences for all the people who need those jobs. It takes a team effort to uphold the rules, and if a few selfish dumbasses break the rules, that could have catastrophic consequences for all the working men and women down the supply chain.

That's not something the Cruise Missile wants on his conscience, his biography, or his balance sheet.

Considering he broke his foot doing his own stunts for the last Mission Impossible film and did a PSA for against motion smoothing on TVs, Tom Cruise seems particularly passionate about what he does and the industry in general.

Its better to be caught caring about keeping people working by obeying health protocols than the opposite.

Apparently he's not completely lost touch with reality.
Yeah, I wasn’t even trying to be a dick either. I just thought they had an entirely different take on people getting sick and medicine.

Man I’ve been in that zone a few times in my career, it can happen to the best of us. Never regretted it though as they deserved the shit l gave.

Im sure this was totally justified.
