Every company I've worked at the marketing dept claims the testers and focus groups say the new prototype thing is good too. They do this to try to rally all the internal staff their next product line is going to be gold. Then the product releases, flops hard and the Amazon avg reviews are like 2.2/5 with people saying it sucks and doesnt even work as intended. Thats funny. 8-12 months ago during all those fancy powerpoint presentations to staff, all your new products coming were supposed to be the best ever. Now customer actually buy it for money and it sucks balls. Nice grift there marketing manager. To your own coworkers too, never mind trying to hype up paying customers to open their wallets.
No different than false claims, bullshots, 99% of games sites giving preview articles as if every game previewed is awesome etc....
