I'm semi excited for it. Gonna wait for reviews. March is Bioshock Infinite month for me. Still have Underworld in my backlog will probably start that soon before the new TR is out.

Apparently Underworld sold poorly or something.

They weren't satisfied with the Underworld sales I guess. Even though I'm excited for this game, I just don't care for the origins of Lara story... I don't care about all the turmoil she went through. I just want another awesome exploration, adventure and action game with a story about her trying to find some epic and lost treassure with dinosaurs and her being badass.

Oh, that's a shame - Underworld was an awesome game.

I'll probably play it at the end of the year in a steam sale, but this is the most I've been excited about a TR game since the 90s.

Unless it sucks, then I'll just ignore it safely. I don't much care about the franchise either way.

That said, I'm glad they did this reboot instead of another inane TR rehash of below average quality.

That doesn't make any sense at all. A reboot is a reboot because it's different from the previous titles so whether you like those or not shouldn't influence your decision to play the reboot.

What's even more of a shame is that valid criticism and lengthy discussion about valid concerns are swept under a blanket of people who don't want to hear/read it and are simply label people with these concerns as "haters."

The platforming is pretty much exactly the same as in Crystal's games (and Legend came out more than a year before the first Uncharted). Just (even more) dumbed down.

I've played all 4 Uncharted games. Yes, different gameplay but the series borrowed concepts and the platforming is eerily similar to the newer TR games. All I'm saying! Industry is built on clones and copies.

For sure. I loved puzzle solving in Uncharted... with my guns.

The platforming and TPS aspect from the most recent games. TR changed hands before Uncharted ever shipped and Legend shares a lot with Uncharted.
