It was alright. Not bad, not great. The scene with him asking the guy about what he meant by he was surprised was straight out of Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm though ( damn typecasting).

Eh? Say what? Maybe I have to know more about the guy who this was based on, but damn this show was terrible. I'm going to take this off my Tivo if it doesn't pick up by the second ep. It was soooo boring and unfunny. This is coming from someone who watches way too much TV. What did you guys like about it? I just don't get it.

i liked the opening thing with the number his daughter took down, and pretty much every scene with his son.

like i said, the song was a bit ridiculous, but it was a solid first show overall.

For a first episode it was very good. That means overall it was decent.. Some stuff worked, some didnt and it was a little shaky.. but the first season of most shows is shaky because they dont have a feel for the charachters yet. By season 5 the charachters become charactures of themsleves and it all goes to hell. Seasons 2-4 are where its at for most TV.

Right now they are all over the place with his charachter.. One scene he is Castanza, the next he is Ray Ramano and then he is Bill Cosby. I think they will eventually pin him down better.
