Don't worry guys.

SAO will be back to its terrible form soon.

Also, is the next episode of Shippuden the one that is animated on a whole other level?

I seem to recall a scene involving chess being particularly well done.

Just guessing but i think they're all really sick and are probably gonna die. And damn am I not a sucker for those kind of arcs in shows. Remember an episode in the Spiderman cartoon with a sick kid wanting to see Spiderman before he died, that really got to me :(

This would be very dramatic and touching...if I actually cared about the characters.

I don't get this reasoning. I mean, these are all new characters introduced in this arc and Yuuki is a pretty likable character. What, because it's in SAO it doesn't count?

Guys.

I think I'm broken.

Either that, or I just watched a good episode of Sword Art Online.

there's a scene in the credits that implies Asuna is at a graveyard I think

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
You can keep trying to promote yourself Subway, I'm never going back in your restaurant.

Well yea, that's hard but still. You'd think they could be upfront at this point, I mean they're all buddies now.

I dunno man, when you have someone saying "I WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH YOU ALL FOREVER" and you know the inevitable is coming, it's probably tearing them up inside. Again the big problem with all of this is that it's in SAO and it's kind of hard to accept "oh wait this is actually kind of decent".

To be blunt: yes.

SAO was unable to make me care about the characters, so I'm neutral about it the setting as a whole.

He got bored and went home.

That was good for SAO, legit good might be a bit much.

I wonder how creepy the next rape sequence will be...

Legit good for SAO, obvious a low bar here, but I did think this was a better episode then Akame Ga Kill this week.

It's kind of why I want someone to make an original movie out of this concept ala Summer Wars because this story arc not in the context of SAO would probably be far better accepted.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to tell your new friend 'actually we're all terminally ill and probably are going to die in a month'

I figured it might possibly be something like that though I would've thought
they would have more time than that left.

Yes, it would be hard but dragging it out like this just makes everything more uncomfortable for EVERYONE. At some point the mature thing to do is rip the band-aid off. Are they hoping Asuna would just
stop caring when she never saw them again after a month?
I'm surprised Asuna isn't pushing the issue (politely of course). The fact that people in here who've never seen the show are picking up on it means we should expect Asuna to get real suspicious.

I'm surprised the toonami tumblr people know Asuma's last name.

Whut? She's far and away the most charming, no... ONLY charming, character in this entire series. I have no idea why you would even say that. Fite me.

Good luck, ckohler. I got that Yashin jutsu on lock, bro. Come at me. Let me see the pain in your eyes as I shitpost you to death, man.

Nah, he totally killed them all and just went home to make dinner.
The other party wouldn't have made it to the boss room then. It can't be a coincidence that the episode that has an implied Kirito loss is also the first good SAO episode.

Why? Because their spokes person is a child porn scumbag? I don't think I'd hold that against the restaurant we know they didn't hire him knowing that <___<

That's part of it.
The bigger part is that there's waaaay better sandwich places out there.
