It's been out for a month or so. If they really wanted it to air (and by 'they' I'm more talking about Aniplex), they could probably pull it off. Two or so months lead-time is probably enough.

If they air it in SAO's normal timeslot and just skip the reruns after it for a week, it would work pretty well. I doubt it though.

well i threw the question about OVAs in with a more incredibly obvious question about both seasons hoping they'd answer one and then at least look at the other one.

also i should clarify the whole senior prom thing was a question they DID answer and not the answer to that question haha

Sorry, just messing around. We’re not in charge of that dub and did not ask for that change. Beyond that, the dub aired first, so who’s to say which version is “correct?” Either way, ask our friends at Funimation, We’re sure they had a good reason!

& just checked, Funimation grabbed the rights after Bandai closed down in the US. So sounds like there might be a chance!

I've owned the DVDs for years.

I don't think any amount of editing could put that episode of Outlaw Star on the air. Too much full frontal nudity.

They put the work in for Tenchi OVA because that was an all time classic. I guess if they used the modern technique of white fog everywhere they could possibly get away with it but I doubt it.
