Lord Slug is a lot better than I expected it would be. The minion fights are actually great, and the ruined city environment goes a long way toward making the whole thing feel fresh. I feel like the Dragon Balls were kind of shoe-horned in, though, and most of the plot developments in the back half are some bullshit (I know, DBZ, but still). Rankings so far:

The anime got me into the series in the first place.

Not quite. The new show airs in 21 days which has been the minimum lead time for shows for a while now - not since Star Wars or Soul Eater (early 2013) was it less than that.

Maybe there will be a teaser today, if not, I'd have to imagine next week sometime.

I'd be content if they aired that movie from the early '90s. The dub was surprisingly good, given the era it came out. Too bad for certain scenes, they look really bad because they couldn't get better quality/the original masters of said scenes.
