More like you'll soon truly be aliiiive.

I need to open my computer up and fix my front audio jacks. I never connected them properly so the computer doesn't see them. I've just made do using the back ones but that can be annoying.

Nah, you need to play more SOTN. Did you go back and make sure your not skipping half the game yet?

Yeah. I ALMOST had it but then I fucked up at the end. Someone else helped me out afterwards.

I found everything I needed since after dying to him once I went into OCD mode and made sure all my white lines were solid on the map and found two extra scenes and two bosses and figured out the main puzzle (even though I assumed it would open the top and not the bottom >< .)

And then I had everything I needed but just
killed the guy anyways ><
because I didn't see the
green orb. I just didn't see it!

I thought that
Marie would come in on her own and alter the fight or something after talking to her twice more but guess not, oops.

Enjoy the 2nd part of the game then! And then, go through a second playthrough as Ricter

Also, the Game Over screen has some of my favorite engrish ever. "Let us go out this evening for Pleasure!"

There was no real football competition for Dandy (the game was a blowout by that point), so I really hope Dandy has a big jump, even if I don't like it.

Good ratings all around, everything is up from last week. Sad OP can't get over the 1 mill hump but it's still doing well.

My take on the ratings this week:

Tri-Million is to be expected every single week, anything less would be a disappointment. Dandy got a very slight bump but was almost beaten out by Bleach; I expect it to get overtaken next week.

Shippuden bounced back big time but One Piece continues to dip. It's doing good in the 1AM 18-24 demo but people expecting the show to hit 1M+ regularly like it did during the summer are going to be sorely disappointed. 919K isn't really close to 1M, the drop off from Shippuden is noticeable.

Soul Eater is holding steady in the 800-850K range at 1:30AM but SAO continues to spiral downwards. After being a 1M+ show during the summer it has steadily dropped off to the point where I can see the series dipping below 700K when it's all said and done. Once people realized the shitty writing wasn't going to get better they abandoned ship in droves.

FLCL needs to go, hopefully Samurai Jack is the replacement. Naruto is seeing a bump in the middle due to it being a popular property although I expected it to be higher. Once we get to the Land of the Waves arc it'll shoot up.

Brotherhood is going to continue to see a huge drop off, even though this is my first time through it has been played to death. Toonami should really consider swapping it out for SBT once the current run ends but that won't happen. GitS is doing exactly what I thought it would in the dead hour.

IGPX, Clone Wars, and Inuyasha fluctuate much more than any other shows on the block, it's really hard to predict what they are going to pull in on a given night. I'm happy they all did well this weekend.

Ratings are down overall from this time last year but this was still a solid weekend. That sag in the middle of the block needs to be addressed, a new show (Samurai Jack?) could breathe some life back into it.

Toonami should bump Inyuasha up to keep ratings up.

Yeah. All they have to do is get rid of OG Naruto. They'd probably get better ratings too so it'd be a win win.

Also I smell a quad-mill coming soon. :>

No, Inuyasha should stay at the 5:30AM slot. A lot of children get up around that time to watch the show, moving it into the dead zone is only going to hurt ratings. That's why Clone Wars got shifted back, it appeals to children and fits better at 5AM.

Quad-Mil won't be coming for a while.

When bleach ends and blood war isn't ready I wonder if they'll slide Shippuden and OP up to 12/12:30 and if that would be the boost op needs to consistently do 1 mill every week. I imagine in the summer we'll be doing quad mills every weekend thanks to the vacation bump

Slightly better than last week, but Bleach is almost neck-and-neck with Dandy.

If Bleach ends up getting more viewers than Dandy, we might have a problem.

That's only a problem if Dandy's ratings drop causing Bleach to pass it, if Dandy continues to do 1.1-1.2 Million a week and Bleach surpasses that and gets 1.3+ that's not really a bad thing at all.

It's a possibility but I would think Fairy Tail would replace Bleach, leaving Shippuden/One Piece in their current slots. I'm not so sure that moving One Piece up 30 minutes would give the show an extra 50K viewers per week.

Quad-mils are most likely to happen during the summer months but not guaranteed every weekend in my opinion. Last year from 6/1-8/31 quad-mil ratings happened a total of 5 out of 14 weeks, and one of those was a movie night (8/31). Now, toonami is going to continue to experience growth in 2014 based off of current trends and could possibly keep the 11:30AM SAT slot which would help, but I don't think quad-mil ratings will be a regular thing.

If they keep the current format going into the summer I could see something like this happening:

11:30 - Attack on Titan
12:00 - Fairy Tail
12:30 - Shippuden
1:00 - One Piece
1:30 - Blue Exorcist
2:00 - Space Dandy
2:30 - Samurai Jack
3:00 - Naruto
3:30 - FMA Brotherhood
4:00 - Ghost in the Shell 2nd gig
4:30 - SymBionic Titan
5:00 - Clone Wars
5:30 - Inuyasha

I assume your 2PM Space Dandy is a repeat after it finishes it first run at 11:30? I'd see this as a possibility and would be cool with this line up. Only thing is they might switch Jack with Dandy because Jack would be "new" where as Dandy would be repeat

Yup, that 2AM spot would be a Dandy repeat, I'm sure it'll re-run on the block for a very long time. I only put Dandy ahead of Jack because I think it'll pull in higher ratings but it also makes sense to flip them since Jack will be 'new' like you said.

Only other issue I see with your potential line up is that it could be pricey, AoT and FT might cost a pretty penny and I imagine Shippuden and OP aren't cheap either. Though from Space Dandy on most of the block is virtually free so it may work.

Slightly better than last week, but Bleach is almost neck-and-neck with Dandy.

If Bleach ends up getting more viewers than Dandy, we might have a problem.

Bleach is probably going to start out-rating Dandy, most likely beginning next week. It has a large following and is more of an 'action cartoon' which gives it a leg up. As long as Dandy doesn't nosedive below 1M I don't think it will really matter though.

It's hard to say because while Bleach is the most popular action anime on the block no questions, Space Dandy may have/gain an audience that is only around to watch it and doesn't care for the rest of the block. I'm assuming that their is a Bleach fan base that tunes in at midnight and only watches the show before tuning out so really it's hard to say either way. I think in the end the Dandy only viewers and the Bleach only viewers will probably even out and we'll see both shows pretty close like they have been with Dandy getting a slight edge if only because it comes on a half hour earlier. I imagine if you switched the two then Bleach would slightly edge out Dandy the same way.

It'll only be worrisome if it gets overtaken and it stays like that consistently over the course of its run.
While Bleach has the advantage of a dedicated fanbase and more action, Dandy has the advantage of airing earlier, being a fresh show, and highly advertised.

foxuzamaki

Doesn't read OPs, especially not his own
blue exorcist got alot of hype, the only reason its not in more eyes today is because the show ended and they didnt do much with it outside a movie afterwards. Not to mention it took this long for it to appear on toonami/adult swim.

Honestly good ratings are good ratings and if Space Dandy and Bleach can consistently do 1 million then it's a win for modern Toonami

True, Bleach only dipped below 1M in the lead off position 5 times all of last year. I don't expect either one to drop that far over the next few months.

What kind of human being would watch Bleach?

Over one million hollows each week

Just watched that video bishop posted, shots fired at bleach, comments must be onfire.

It's a warzone
