I really don't think this is all that worthy of getting upset over honestly. It's keeping us from canon but that's really all it's doing and only for like 5 or 6 more episodes.

Shippuden is literally dragging it's feet for the length of over 24 episodes of filler. That's longer then Kill La Kill in its entirety.
