They expand on her in filler or a movie or something right? I don't think she gets much mention after this in the regular manga (Note, I stopped reading partway through the last major arc and picked it up a the very end).
Also, this reminds me how freaking cool Akatsuki were. How the hell did they manage to ruin that?

I've felt this way for months.
Outside of a couple, most of the tailed beast don't get much focus in canon. Filler tries to expand their roles a bit but it's not great most of the time.

I was glad when they moved on to another arc back when I marathoned one piece, but then it got to a point where I got tired of the next arc aswelll, which was especially painful because the environments in the next arc arent much to look at.
There are some arcs coming up that make Enies Lobby look blissfully short.

I wasn't sure what people thought of it. It got a lot of shit just for the weird suggestive Sasuke snake porn pose but I wasn't sure if people was just giving it shit or actually disliked it.

I remember being excited back when I was reading because having the manga focus on more crazy Jinchuriki could have been cool. And then, offpaneled.It was over and you almost never see her again, Not alive.
I love the new training montage music they use a lot starting next arc. Don't know what it's called though.

Dammit. We legitimately haven't had one, have we? In that case I can excuse it. Those 2 filler episodes killed the tension that had been building up since the fights started, bleh.
& that's really a problem I have with long-running series: arcs can just last sooooooo long, which I understand is to keep the series going, but it just makes it easier to feel "fatigued" in that you wish the story would finally progress.

Sometimes I wish GAF was more OK with pony gifs. I mean, this one from the newest episode was perfect for Shippuden besides the last few minutes.

It's not bad if you marathon through arcs and skip the overlong openings and recaps. That being said, it's painful week to week.
