I don't care much for visual novels, but I've had it explained to me that a few are basically full and good stories, with a random sex scene or two that are forcibly inserted in places such that if you removed those scenes you would have no idea they were there in the first place. The analogy was that they were like dance/musical numbers in bollywood movies - appearing at random and then things proceeding as if they never happened - but I don't know how good that analogy is.

And this is why I cringe when people demand 18+ versions

Go watch porn or....whatever it is you older people do for that stuff. Don't go and ruin a fine story.

This is why I tend to stick to the few franchises that keep that shit out of their games. 999 and Phoenix Wright.

I don't really blame them for doing music videos with a little more frequency now. We've entered the 5th year of the revived block and making speeches or Toonami AMVs probably becomes a bit stale at this point in terms of ideas. Game reviews, line up promos, marathon promos, and new show promos don't have that problem, of course.

I think the one thing that is safe to say about the Samurai Champloo is that it is going to be something mid level since we are looking at 1:30 AM and that is not a timeslot to be wasted on Jojo. Something more in the range of Blade Battle Blockade or Owari No Seraph.

It'd be 1am, and that's where they premiered Hunter x Hunter so I don't think Jojo is out of the question. I'm not sure how I'd feel about that based on how much further it'd tie up the block though.

Given what they said about the price on Jojo I don't see it, this is something they would want to rotate in as high as possible. Also, I am not sure if they want to move Hunter X Hunter from it perch this early in the game. Psycho-Pass is honestly the highest profile thing I could see premiering next month.

This morning, YouTube was being SUPER slow for me for some reason. Restarting my modem kind of helped, but not for long & became slow again.

As of right now, the site seems to just be loading rather slowly in general. It took a minute or two just to load my subscriptions up, but with broken images.

Be careful with this filler arc. It is Ambien in Animation-form
