Santa Claus and the Ice Cream Bunny is proof you can show just about anything and then end it with the Ice Cream Bunny laughing and it will be funny. Jack and the Beanstalk was much much better than Thumbelina. The Giant 'falling' had me in stitches.

What happened to the last Kickstarter Double Fine backed. Broken Age was mostly warmly received I feel (Aside from running out of money but that can be blamed on early KS development).

So...since everyone is gonna be so busy, I figured I should get Xmas gifts out of the way here...

*pulls out a large dark box, kicks lid open, to reveal slightly glowing contents*

Okay, everyone gets a copy of Eureka Seven AO or Daimidaler the Sound Robot.

Oh, and all the copies are slightly irradiated. So, you know, don't expose yourself to it for long periods or rub it against your genitals.

Xenoblade X is pretty good. The music isn't bad either, but it's also not amazing (outside of the title theme) right out of the gate as Xenoblade was

Well, Tim and Eric look horrendous and total shit just like Selab 2021 back then. I always hated the spam of Tim and Eric commercials back then. Definitely the worst shit ever existed and I hoped they got grief for caring nothing but that stupidity.

Oh my god, just nearly got into a head on collision on my way to work.
I was traveling down this long and curvy two lanes road near my house and I'm going 55 miles an hour(limit is 55). I come around the blind corner and all I see is this white car that had been trying to pass somebody heading directly for me. He was probably going 70. He gets on his brakes and I swerve to the left of him to avoid and he hits the cop car behind me. Crazy stuff and I thank goodness I was paying attention or it could've been me.
Both cars looked totaled and the cop was knocked out. Other dude in the white car is lying on the ground in pain and shit.

That's scary. Hope everybody in the collision is alright.

I almost had a similar collision a while back but luckily avoided it. It's almost surreal to think about how bad things could have gotten if those 5 seconds went a little differently.

For real though glad you're safe. I was in something similar, although the results probably wouldn't have been as drastic had I failed.

Holy crap, glad to hear you're okay.

I'm just sitting here waiting for UPS to delivery my Xenoblade X LE. Gotta say, Best Buy's 20% off + release day shipping (if it does arrive today or tomorrow) is rather nice, but I'll probably only use it on LEs or sales going on.

....though my backlog has grown a lot now that I have a PS4. Thank goodness for Rest Mode/suspend on consoles, that's probably gonna help me play more since it's the reason why I gravitated towards handhelds once I got out of high school.

To be fair, here's what I got Thanksgiving/Black Friday week/end:

- Godzilla
- One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3
- Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (w/ FF15 demo)
- Tearaway Unfolded
- Arkham Knight
- Bayonetta 2
- Shantae & the Pirate's Curse (3DS, completed a few days ago)

I might try to blast through AK & Godzilla since I feel like I'll spend the most time on PW3 (though that feeling of being underpowered after all the leveling up in PS2 suucckkss). Not to mention there's a few more PS4 games I want (Onechanbara Z2 Chaos, Dragon Quest Heroes, GG Xrd LE despite Revelator coming out, & maybe a few PSN titles) then next year will bring stuff like Gravity Rush Remastered, SK Estival Versus, maybe Mighty No. 9, & that's not counting the Nintendo stuff like Mario & Luigi Paper Jam, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Project X Zone 2, Twilight Princess HD, Star Fox Zero, & such.

I don't know how much I'll get into XCX when I get it this weekend, I have so many games, I feel like I should focus on one game, then move on to the rest rather than juggling multiple games at once on a single or two systems.

Edit: to get back on topic, omg Sentai changed their Twitter usernam to "Sentai Claus"

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is by far the most overlooked game of last year.

If Shovel Knight hadn't come out last year it would have been a shoe in for best 2d platformer/indie game.

I'm kind of glad I got for $10 instead of $20. I was able to beat it in a little over 7 hours (some moments of "WTF do I do next?!") with 100% completion, but I don't have much desire to replay it, especially when the only reward are pictures I can easily see online.

Still, yes, as someone who couldn't get into the GBC original because "WHERE AM I SUPPOSE TO GO??!", this was a huge improvement & worth checking out. Might try out Risky's Revenge if it goes on sale on PSN.

So I was in the gym working out, and the The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies was on.

Now, I know fans were largely disappointed with the movies, especially some of the unnecessary changes.

But I'm just sitting there wondering why the CGI looks so fucking bad.

It looks terrible. I remember the original movies having better CGI.

Risky's Revenge is less than half as long as Pirate's Curse, with boring levels. It's the worst game in the series and none of the ports have improved it.

Its real advantage was being one of the best looking 2D games on the DSi.
