So you're going to avoid TV for the rest of the year? PS4 and Xbone commercials are going to be all over the place. Or do you fear the expected density of advertising during Toonami might throw you over the edge?

True story, whenever I am making an OP, I make it first as a post in this thread for previewing and whatnot - just in case I accidentally hit post. That way I can edit it (or delete it) quickly without the embarrassment. Then I actually make the thread when ready - copy paste the text.

If anybody could make an image with the Toonami font saying "Dec '13 Movies" or something to that effect for the next OP that'd be cool. Similar to the other images.

That doesn't make much sense, you're constantly advertised to. Do you turn off the TV during commercial breaks, avoid public places, use ad-block on every website, etc?

No, I handle commercials and stuff just fine for the most part. It's when it's drilled into my head- like how you will see 4 Coke commercials in a row at a movie theater, or your in an Apple store, ect. I do use ad block for 95% of the internet. I have my podcast automatically skip the first 30 seconds of every podcast to skip ads.

I usually eat before going to the theater or sneak my own snacks in so I don't get that comparison.

If I'm in a store, whose purpose is to sell me things, I don't feel this compulsive desire to spend money. Self-control my man.

But if you think seeing a few Xbox One ads during toonami is going to brainwash you into dropping $500, do what you gotta do. You're gonna miss out on a good night but I guess you could DVR it.

You should laugh Shadenfreude (apt name in this case). It was a silly mistake and it looks completely silly.

I should have done what Seda said. It is what I did when I was preparing my One Piece 101 with the help of you guys. Editing an original post is much much harder than editing a regular one. I was still working on the idea.

Oh well, live and learn.

And yes, everything bad to ever happen on GAF is all my fault. Come at me bros.

I'm pretty methodical when it comes to the food I eat.

The only thing advertising does for me is remind me the place exists. So if I see a new Doritos taco, I won't want that. It will just remind me that Taco Bell exists and now I want my #8.
