I thought that movie was ok. It just suffers from all the problems filler does. It has no effect on the story. The best thing about it was the great animation.

I tend to watch Anime movies (based off of Shonen battle manga) to simply get more adventures from characters and nothing more. It why I like most of the Naruto movies (that and other characters actually get to do stuff). They are basically filler with budgets and if the fights are good, then I am good. I like what they were going for here but I like the other style better.
