DBZ is an awful show for many reasons discussed on the previous page, it needs to die a painful death instead of being viewed through rose tinted glasses. It popularized so much bullshit such as:

- Explaing your attack to the enemy to waste air time instead of fighting
- Nonsensical jobbing from the main characters to prolong story arcs
- Predictable arcs that don't differentiate much from the first one
- Killing off heroes to create drama but providing a 'get out of jail free' card to bring them back from the dead with no real consequences
- Cheap villain trap cards in the form of transformations
- Filler content in the form of extra scenes, inflated dialogue, and non canon arcs that ultimately had no bearing on the overall story

DBZ is the original shitty long running shonen series that suffers a steep decline in quality. People vote for it based on nostalgia, not quality. It needs to be held accountable for its crimes, do the right thing.

Its okay man. JCA is a great show and had good story arcs. Much better than most shows that came out of KidsWB. I also recently watched it again on Netflix and yes it does still hold up. Unfortunately, I have to use my save for DBZ this go, but I don't think it is going to be evicted just yet.

Same votes and reasons as last time. There are truly terribly made shows (this is not a comment on the japanese versions of these shows. Those might be equally as bad.) that featured horrific stories and writing, as well as laughable dubbing to accompany it. Bakugan and Duel Masters are two of them. I'm also completely willing to admit that my love for DBZ is nostalgia. Not nearly the worst show on the list, but the flaws people list about it are not wrong. There is a reason Dragonball Z Kai was created. Toriyama agreed with the pacing issues, amongst other things. It is still entertaining though.

I watched a couple episodes on Netflix a few weeks back. It's a charming show with some neat characters and really good action.

Fighting against a dumb campaign to kill off the show that is synonymous with Toonami and one of the better shows anyway, just because their show (not even an action show on what is supposed to be an action block) got rightfully outed.

Another rule for another time. Nothing in the OP suggested that points would roll over and to change it now would negatively effect the people who were going by the rules to begin with. It would change strategy and it would be pretty cool.

Carrying over votes would also make the imbalance between possible double kills and single saves even more pronounced; if people set their sights on one show it eventually just becomes impossible to save it without many more people voting to save than to kill.

How? The gap just widens and widens unless everyone keeps doing exactly the same thing.

The 90s thread had the sense to just move on when a show got saved with the exception of like the top 20. Doing the same show over and over again, like the way this thread is doing, gets boring. Carrying over votes only accentuates that.
