I took a few screen shots of the game maxed out. It's quite nice in motion. The original Trackmania was already a looker.

I'm getting between 80-100 fps with everything on max, so the game is running very well.

Specs:
i2500k @ 4.2Ghz
GTX 570
4GB DDRIII ram
 
Can you disable blur and bloom yet? I love this series but this is actually really important, I hate that damned blue especially.

Yes, you can do it from the game launcher.

Anyways, anyone tried to add a custom sticker to a car yet? Do I need to convert the image to .dds?

Edit: I think .tga for the texture and .dds for the icon..

People with the beta: do they haves substantially larger amount of blocks to work with in the beta or no? I'd hope the sequel would have much more tools and blocks at your disposal than in a single environment in TMUF.

I've only got a HD4850 and a dual core at 2.8ghz or so. Is the game likely to run at a stable framerate on that?

I'm upgrading my PC soon so I guess I can take the chance.

Game ran perfect for me using the config setup posted earlier in the thread. Not sure exactly what the fps was, but it was smooth.

CPU: E8400 @ 3.5GHz
GPU: eVGA GTX 260 OC
 
Sucks to hear you guys are having trouble buying it. I bought it through the link that was posted in this thread around an hour before the countdown timer ran out and had no problems.
Anyway, I never played any trackmania games before, but I think this game is pretty damn awesome. I average 50-60 fps with my 6870 on max settings, which seems pretty good but I was hoping for a bit better. Turning and drifting is super satisfying, and the graphics look good, especially in motion. For anyone worried about motion blur, it looks great in this game and isn't distracting or out of place at all. In fact, I tried turning it off and the game looked weird to me. Menus are also very sleek and clean looking, albeit a bit cluttered at times. At first I was playing mainly what I'm assuming are official maps, but later on I came across some pretty insane, lengthy custom maps. Can't wait for more insane maps; I've yet to come across any loops yet but I'm sure they will come up. The game strikes a perfect mix between realistic and arcadey, but I'm sure most of you are already aware of that :P
I was checking my local ranking and it was cool to see a fellow gaffer, The Exodu5 on there.
Hang in there guys, it's totally worth it!
 
Played a ton, really enjoying it. This game needs a better UI though, still as ugly and cluttered as the first was. It also needs way more loops, but I'm sure the mod community will take care of that.
 
Managed to get it just now, used paypal instead of my credit card and it went through. At least the download server is fast.

Yep, exactly. You can either use their download manager, or use the direct download links they also provide.
 
I FINALLY got through - bought it through a French Paypal site, and now I'm downloading the installer and binary.

Bit of a pain in the arse, but I - as any sane person does - love Trackmania, so buying this unseen is a no-brainer.

If anyone's interested, I can post some screenshots at 5760x1080. I'm assuming that it's going to have Eyefinity natively enabled, like United, so it should be awesome.

You can change graphics settings also while in the game menu or while racing by moving the mouse to top right corner of the screen and clicking on the gear wheel icon.
 
Installed, looking good, can't connect to anything.

Anyone else having trouble? Every time I try to connect, I sit at a black screen for a bit, then it says 'The match was interrupted. Returning to menus.'

Nadeo are doing something at the server end. I got it quite often during the closed Beta. Just wait a while and try again. This is a Beta test after all :)
