I truly couldn't care less about Transformers, but this game looks awesome and Platinum rules, so I think I'm picking it up.
Now... which system?
Can I preload by any chance?
Why? Surely Activision would have faith in this right? It's a badass game
Character action games generally don't review well.
Reviewers generally don't have the skill or knowledge required to accurately review this genre. A good example used yesterday was DMC is the best-reviewed game in that series despite being one of the worst from a gameplay perspective.
Yeah, that wouldn't work out very well at all, would it?

A Platinum take on original TMNT would be insane, especially if they contemplate keeping the 2.5D platforming style. Or even if not, they'd still do a kickass job of it, as it seems they've done with TD.

A better and possibly more relevant example would be The Wonderful 101 which got some rather mixed reviews but just a brief read though the OT here and you'll see countless glowing impressions and some super awesome breakdowns of the game's finer mechanics. My favourite game of 2013 by a margin and Rising came out that year also.
I mean, DMC is by far the best game in the series, and that's coming from someone who loves 3 and 4 to death, so that's a pretty bad example imo
As this is my favorite genre, I'll probably buy this when it unlocks on Steam. It doesn't seem like a complete trainwreck, does it?

This is two players, right?
The people who made the game hardly get any money from the sale anyway though. The money goes to Activision and quite likely Platinum has already at least majority of their money.PSN doesn't have a digital version.
Had to argue with the dude at Gamestop to sell me a sealed copy.
The people who made the game deserves the money not Gamestop
Lies detected.
I want a TMNT Platinum game so bad. Just not in the cheesy Nickelodeon branding and style, but more in the gritty yet colorful comic book style.
Have you actually watched the Nickelodeon cartoon? I've actually quite enjoyed every season thus far, and this is coming from a fan of the OG cartoon from the 90's.I want a TMNT Platinum game so bad. The nick version is my all time favorite tmnt fiction and this is coming from someone who enjoyed the 87 and 03 version. I think even a Platinum-made TMNT with the Nick artstyle could be awesome. It certainly would be leagues better than the games they've put out thus far.
Was the original cartoon in 87? Damn, I thought early 90's for some reason. 'Dat old age brain. The nick version is my all time favorite tmnt fiction and this is coming from someone who enjoyed the 87 and 03 version. I agree a platinum nick tmnt would rock

Minor complaint, but I really don't like Starscream's voice. RIP, Chris Latta.![]()
The best TMNT is the current IDW comic series. It marries goofy and grim perfectly.
But this is a Transformers thread dammit. Shellheads get out!
So Rocksteady?
No one has performed Starscream as good as him, the original and best imo
