I was just thinking about the cybertron series yesterday wondering if we would ever get a good transformers game out. Well crap, I guess that's one less option.

Was it a trilogy? I remember two plus the platinum games one which was also pretty cool and has been delisted as well. The transformers franchise has been treated like shit in gaming.

Giving the transformers guns and making the game a shooter is just bizarre to put it nicely. You could do so many cool things with the transformers and they chose to do that. Even if this game wasn't canceled, it would've bombed hard because no transformer fan would wanna play a shooter in a transformers skin.

I'm a sucker for all things Transformers so that BOT design was solid (Bumblebee X)but the game lacked density and life in that pre-alpha footage.

I was actually a big fan of the PS2 exclusive Transformers game.. The only Transformers game I actually enjoyed. Seems to be kinda a hidden gem these days, but then again it's been 20 years, might not hold up. Anyone here remember this one?

As insane as this sounds. If ai could replace all the textures of the older with newer modernized versions it would be a game changer for remasters. Min effort max returns. Also companies should remove music that leads to end of life for racing games.

Not at tech guy; so I know very little as the above would be cost effective and aid the industry.

I know there was some news, since the games license has been expired, Hasbro said that they want to bring the games games, but couldn't because Activision lost the code.

Don't know of any of em this is true......but maybe there's some true to this, no reason why Microsoft would not bring this old games back.

At this point Microsoft needs to wait for the license to expire or just bought it back I guess??

This might be salvageable. Having a proper campaign with a BR multiplayer mode would be fine.

No thanks. Why would a Transformers game outside of Devastation need an '80s shader? And while the 80's designs are fantastic, they don't fit every game or genre.
