I have been trying to research treadmills and wanting to stay at around $1500 or so.. I want something that is good and will be reliable and last a few years. I am pretty overweight (over 300lbs) so it will have to be something that can hold up and eventually I would like to get into jogging/running on it when I am able to.
I tried looking at the used market, but everything in my area is just nordictrack/proform/weslo crap, and while it is cheap, I don't want to have to go through the hassle of having to dispose/replace it in less than a year. I would rather just spend the money now to get something that I will be able to use for a long time. I have also looked at some of the more specialty brands like True and Precor but they are way out of my price range. Everything I read about Icon Fitness (nordictrack/proform) is making me want to stay away from them.
The Yowza Daytona looks like it would be a perfect solution for me. There have been some good things to say about Yowza but internet reviews these days are so unreliable because I don't know if they are paid reviews and if they have even tried out the machine. The Daytona hits everything I would want from a treadmill and is even under $1500 using a 5% coupon (5%yowza) and includes a fitbit which would be really nice to have.
