Triangle Strategy port announced for Meta Quest VR

Works so well I use it over my wired headsets. It does depend your internet speed/router. There are tons of videos online about it.
I have an OG Oculus that we don't use at all because it's a mess to update every year we want to play with it during Holidays. Perhaps a stand alone unit would be more easy for the family than trying to start something with Facebook/Steam integration. Though, the only game that I could play remotely would probably be Skyrim.

Played in my kitchen in mixed reality. Its almost 100% flawless. I put the stage on my island and just walk around it and play like its real D&D. Its just real JRPG sprites hanging out in my living room and its amazing.

This is the definitive way to play any HD2D game. Its so far ahead.

Only 1 complaint. I can adjust the stage and then go into cutscenes and when back to the map it doesnt save the positioning. My only minor gripe so far.

looks amazing; I haven't bought any of the AR games since getting the Q3 because they just didn't seem compelling, but I think I'd actually use this tabletop AR view.

Remember back when Microsoft promise tabletop AR Minecraft about... a century ago? lol. If a competent company had the rights to Minecraft (or sell it to even Meta) we'd have amazing things right now.

There's just something so much more satisfying about viewing and especially zooming in to environments and seeing all the details in VR that you don't get to appreciate on a TV or handheld.

This format of game absolutely works in VR, and it's a shame we probably won't see many more like this.

Yeah, it's my first time doing it. It just fits the genre so well. I'm playing on Quest 2 so the real life background is black and white and the game is in full color like normal, but it's still very relaxing and easy to play this way. On Quest 3 it's even better I'm sure.

It's just sick. They recommend playing sitting down but it's fun to put it on a table and walk around it. You can get up to the edges of the stages where there's high walls and look over the edge, or through the windows sometimes. The world map is huge and you can just lean over and get right up on it and see the little waterfalls and things. It's your dream dungeons and dragons board game campaign, but the little dudes walk around and animate.

Even knowing how good VR can be, I can only imagine how awesome that looks in the headset with optimizer cranked up.

Has anyone tinkered with resolution settings for this QGO? I'm finding alot of these games can be pushed to eye-popping levels of clarity.

It looks great in the fully 3D sections - like the world map. Incredible at 150% or higher (I don't know if the gains past 150% are super noticeable). But since it's 2DHD-like in the main game, I didn't see that much improvement there, due to everything looking bitmapped/pixel art.

Then the edges of the MR are lower res no matter what you do, but it's not something terribly noticeable, because the game doesn't blend in and out of MR a lot like say, the Lego VR game.

I finally started this game this morning. It looks incredible on the Quest 3. I maxed out the resolution on the QGO and noticed zero issues.

Here's a look at the game in my messy living room.

That's so cool, I will buy it
Play on Normal difficulty. Its such good AI. Challenging but fair.

I get why it is default on Very Easy for the Quest audience new to this genre. Any SRPG vets change it to normal.
