Okay, I might have misspoke. I just don't like the "vegan" gimmick too much. CM Punk did it already with the SES and he did it better (not the vegan thing, obviously). He's definitely not Vickie-caliber terrible, that's for sure.
The fact he's making the most out of a horrible gimmick(Vegan/Nerd) is a good thing.

There is a 16.6% chance of anyone winning an Elimination Chamber match. But Scott Steiner has an automatic 50% chance of winning any match, so he has 66.6% chance of winning an elimination chamber. However, if you factor in the fact that at least 3 of the other 5 guys will fear Scott Steiner, he has at least a 116.4% chance of winning an Elimination Chamber. This is why Scott Steiner was never used in an Elimination Chamber.
