I will always love The Miz. I was at the Raw where he won the title. It was a pretty damn cool moment, one of the few times where I actually felt like I totally got my money's worth at a live event.
I honestly don't get the hate. He's not amazing but the hatred against the guy is a bit much. He's not even close to being Great Khali bad.

The Miz was WWE Champion while Khali was a former World Heavyweight Champion. WWE belt > Heavyweight belt in the eyes of the WWE.

Smackdown Spoilers thus far:
* SmackDown opens up with a segment between Sheamus and Wade Barrett. They are interrupted by Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes. Big Show also came out and it ended up with Sheamus and Show clearing the ring. Teddy Long comes out and makes a TAG TEAM MATCH, PLAYA! Barrett and Rhodes vs. Show and Sheamus is made for later.
* The Great Khali defeated Jinder Mahal with a chokeslam.
* Backstage segment with Teddy Long and Daniel Bryan.
* Beth Phoenix defeated Alicia Fox. Beth attacked Fox after the match but Tamina made the save. Tamina and Beth have a staredown.
* Tyson Kidd is backstage with Natalya. He farts and Hornswoggle comes walking in, thinking it was Natalya that farted.
* Big Show and Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes is in progress

While I agree the hate is a bit much (I can recall when wrestlegaf seemed to love the guy, back before he got the belt, but wrestlegaf might as well be a 15 year old girl with bipolar disorder, I can hardly keep up with who they like and hate sometimes)
But saying he's better than punk? Thats just stupid talk that should cease.

He was the star of what should have been something awesome and it sucked. And he played a big role in it sucking. And now he's just a boring, vanilla, generic champion. He's less interesting than Cena right now.

I kinda liked him(Miz) when he was Champ when he talked about how no one expected him to be champ but then he was booked to shit against Cena, I mean completely dominating him in a HANDICAP I quit match until the last what was it? Minute? Then he caves and yells I quit as Cena submits him. Fucking pathetic. He played third wheel to Cena/Rock at Mania. He makes dopey ass pouty faces and he needs to dump his shitty catchphrase. He hasn't really garnered much reaction from the crowd ever since his feud with Cena since they don't surely don't take anything he does or says seriously.
The only chance he had at redemption was when he tagged with Truth and WWE shat all over that idea and lets face it, Truth was the one who made the pairing shine.
I could go on and on nitpicking how poorly Miz was booked and how poorly he performed but whatever, he dun goofed and didn't catch Truth.

I've already ranted and raved on how they assasinated Punk's character and how he's been lackluster on the mic and hasn't even had a real feud(til' now with Jericho).

You know I would put that promo Miz cut when he walked out from backstage years ago talking about how hard he struggled close to the Punk one in terms of impact, from a character standpoint at least. Before that he was fairly plain but that promo really made me sit up and take notice of him.

This. He better turn heel, cannot stand face Punk. I think the only faces I ever liked were The Rock and Austin because they were still edgy. Hate the top faces now because they all feel so toned down and fake. Their promos are horribly corny.
Give me Corporate Man Punk! Have Triple H become the new Mr. McMahon character or something, fuse what diehard fans read about him into actual storyline (how he positively books only people he 'likes'... i.e. the Irish guy, and screw everyone else over) to turn him heel. We need a villainous corporate heel that is ruthless; I love Vince but he is old and will have to fully step down sooner or later, so they might as well build the next Vince now. Later they can reveal or make Punk align with Triple H and form some stable.
No, I watch it on Fridays. I don't effect ratings but it's some stupid "basic principle" kind of thing on my part.

Holy shit, that Bryan segment sounds terrific.
*Michael Cole comes to the ring and he introduces AJ. Cole tells her that the entire locker room believes that Daniel Bryan set the entire thing up. World champion Daniel Bryan comes out and says he's had enough and is going to break both of Cole's arms. Cole runs away. Bryan says that he went on a nature walk Sunday while everyone else was eating meat, drinking beer and soda watching the Superbowl. He then says that due to the way AJ has been treated, he is taking her to his Prius and driving her home. Teddy Long tells Bryan he will arrange safe passage for AJ, but if Bryan walks out, he will forfeit the World title.

Wow I stumbled across a bunch of those Legends of Wrestling roundtables and I can't believe I had never seen them before. Any info about them? For instance how many there were, how long did they run them? I was amazed that a WWE sanctioned show talked about all the things they did. Extremely entertaining.

The Legends of Wrestling roundtables have been running on WWE 24/7 for a few years now, and it's probably the best show on that channel.
Really nice level of candidness for a WWE show.

Thoughts in awhile:
Why is Vince so high on Michael Cole shitting on the product when they perfectly have Jr ready and willing to go? It just blows my mind...Cole is not entertaining at all, he's not a good color commentator, and his little run has experied past the King fued.
Shamus won the Royal Rumble I'm so glad that a fresh face (essentially outside the main guys) won. Shamus now gets the extreme pressure of living up to expectations; I have faith in him, go for it.
It also blows my mind why there are no serious fueds outside the main two titles, why not build a mid card? Why not put some focus on the tag titles that gives the midcard some character and lets them branch off to single matches/titles as well. The entire midcard just seems so souless outside 2 or 3 guys.
kill off the 'divas divsion' when Trish left they let the divison die. I use to look foward to watching them go at it, now I literally sigh when their on tv.
p.s. Wrestlemania 19 in my opinion is the best Wrestlemania every match had a nice build up I loved WWE 2002/3
