TNA is on right now, their roster isn't thin.....except for the 2 team tag team division....and the 4 man X-Division.....nah, not thin at all.

JBL's unable to go anymore.
Carlito- slim because he sucks
MVP- slim because he's happy in Japan and he's getting old
RVD- retiring soon I think

The roster doesn't have to be as thin as it is now- you'll likely see some additions after WM.

well in FCW they have Steamboat, Hero, Cesaro, Ambrose, Leakee, Rollins (Tyler Black) and the Rotundas to call up but, they, of course, don't have the tag-team division to rely on and with the WWE avoiding stables, it's even more difficult to break in with only single's division being the way as of now.

EDIT:
TNA is fine doing whatever they want to do, so long as they keep India going strong as that's a lot more appealing than what the WWE and TNA is doing. The TNA roster has many individuals that I'd love to see finishing their careers in the WWE including the Hardys, Dudleys, Angle and RVD. Plus, correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't TNA only have one weekly show on national cable television while the WWE has four as of now?

A touch late on this one, but it needed to be made

- After John Cena's promo about the Rock on Raw, it was reported that several workers backstage loved it because they were upset that the Rock was being used in the main event of WrestleMania despite not being a full-time promoter, and that he was being used in a spot that could be used to elevate another talent.

With that news circulating around the internet, a fan asked Rock over Twitter, "Haters claim you're keeping them from wrestling at 'Mania and they can't get over. Why couldn't they get over when you were gone?" The Rock replied with the following:

@da_other_man The ones who are complaining are the ones who will never get over anyway, Too busy complaining.

Well that's what I am getting at. The WWE doesn't have too many wrestlers who are there to push the younger stars to become the new faces of the program while solidifying them as legitimate wrestlers. The list is short:

Kane: was used with Cena with little to no results besides to make Cena look strong going into Wrestlemania.

Big Show: he did well to make Bryan look stronger. He may be doing the same with Rhodes soon, although he's been prone lately to injure stars and has a limited move set.

Mark Henry: he's not going to become anymore popular and is often injured. He can often make faces and heels look great, so he's an asset and will become an even more important asset when Undertaker/HHH/Big Show retire, should he stay healthy to outlast them.

All three previous fighters are similar with their big physique and work production, with Kane the more agile of the three.

HHH: Not going to happen. He'd rather suck up all the microphone time and renew an Undertaker feud that was never asked for.

Undertaker: Has one or two more feuds at best after the HHH Match, if he even fights again.

Christian: He'll still be going strong, even though he never did much at the main event level so seeing him put over younger stars won't do as much as say an individual getting the best of Henry or Big Show.

Chris Jericho: He should be sticking around for a few more years unless he gets bored again.

Rey Mysterio: Still capable of winning over new fans and will forever be a face, so young and upcoming heels can surely draw a lot of heat by feuding with him, should he not be injury prone in the future.

I'd dare say that's it in terms of veterans who have made a lasting name in WWE infamy to help build younger stars. 8 stars, with 2 who are inactive fighters, 3 that are giants/big men and 3 smaller fighters who can still put entertaining battles.

I'm discounting Booker T, William Regal, Jerry Lawler and Goldust as they are barely used, although Booker T was used excellently to help Rhodes have somewhat of better competition.

They waited too long. The only people that have really been "made" into top stars in the past 8 years or so are Cena, Orton, Edge, Batista, and Punk. In that time both Batista and Edge left, and they've also lost Benoit, Eddie, Angle, Brock, HBK, and a lot of upper-mid level guys like you mentioned. Instead of building up a competitive roster, they put everything into Cena/Orton/Batista. Now they're trying to get new guys over by facing each other, but there's no frame of reference. The only big win for anyone is over Cena, Orton, or Punk (he shouldn't be losing yet though).

Hopefully after Cena beats Rock, he'll start losing. The best thing that could come out of Wrestlemania is Cena winning, go straight into a feud with Dolph, and lose.

kind of sucks for them...now like where do they go from here? They can't be in the title chase for 5 years. That's the problem with guys like Cena and Orton. They won at a young age now you're sick of them in the title picture and if you're not in the title picture, then you don't make the big bucks. The only former world/wwe champions that have gone back to the mid card and stayed over:

Flair
Jericho
Mysterio
JBL
Bret?
Triple H

They'll be in Rock's shoes in a couple of years.

They need back Jim Ross as head of talent relations and scouting. He scouted out some good guys and talent for the future, whereas Laurinitis has sucked in the role. FCW is in bad shape as far as talent except for the few popular indy guys they have down there.

wait...

that was the I'm done thing?

I totally forgot to change it back to Impact. He's Joker Sting again?

Guys....let's forget Sheamus's ass for a minute and look at something else.....

She can't release it to the public because her and Hunter use it for fetish play.

is that the one where Hunter dresses up as the Skull King and has Steph on a chain or something.

Or is that the one where Steph wears it and HHH lets her ride on his back and neigh like a horse?

Ok so, trying to determine a headcount here for Mania, I've got:

djsandman + 1
rvd2kewl
Breakyboy
Perspicacity
krae_man +1
ZeroRay
BillRiccio

Did I miss anyone or any possible plus ones?

I'm a +2, both are casual lurkers on GAF and huge wrasslin' fans. Also, I think we win the prize for "furthest travel distance to Mania" coming from Calgary, AB. Unless there are any British Invasion GAF coming.

Maybe we should just do a community thread for Mania weekend events?

I have a feeling that we'll be seeing some new faces before Summerslam.

They'll introduce some new talent after Mania like always. After the draft Raw usually leaves Smackdown empty and they have to rebuild again so new guys will be brought up around that time. With HHH saying he wants everyone to debut with a storyline and proper build up, hopefully they turn out ok.
