I was never able to go to any PPV.

Haven't really watched wresting in years but I wish I could go to it is this.

How much has Rock been on air in Feburary? And is he expected to be on a lot in March?

He hasn't been on since Survivor Series last year. Tonight will be his first appearance of 2012.

Oh, great timing for me then.

Oh and WrestleMania XXVII is the one that killed me inside. I live near Atlanta. Glad it's in Miami.

I don't think I minded how bad Wrestlemania XXVII was because I had been to so many other great events over the weekend. If it was the only thing I had gone to, I would have been disappointed also.

--As noted earlier, John Cena has already flown from Daytona Beach to Portland tonight to be at Raw, so he won't be able to be the starter at the Daytona 500 after all, which has been delayed a couple of times so far due to rain. Tonight is apparently too big of a show to miss.

--Brian Kendrick has been officially released by TNA.

--During bowling's U.S. Open, Pete Weber, a big pro wrestling fan (he used to do the RVD thumbs when RVD was a big deal in wrestling), whenever he scored a strike, they played HHH's theme music. He won the title throwing a strike on his last throw to win 215-214 in the championship game and they played HHH's them for about three minutes. He also started yelling at a fan who was heckling him. Weber was the oldest bowler to win.

--ROH has a TV taping at the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore on Saturday night to tape four hours of television with Jay Lethal, Maria Kanellis, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Mark & Jay Briscoe, Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin, Kevin Steen, Mike Bennett, Roderick Strong, Michael Elgin, Kyle O'Reilly, The Young Bucks, Adam Cole, Kenny King, Tommaso Ciampa and more appearing.

--Cody Hall, Scott Hall's 20-year-old son who featured on the E:60 piece on Scott Hall last year, talks about getting into pro wrestling at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbJutNmjqzs He says he wouldn't mind being like Randy Orton, a son of wrestler who is doing good, but doesn't want to be like Ted DiBiase.

--The Dragon Gate trios match on the 3/31 WrestleMania weekend show in Miami Beach at the Deauville Beach Resort is official as Cima & Ricochet & Masaaki Mochizuki vs. Low Ki & BxB Hulk & Akira Tozawa.

--C.M. Punk did an interview at http://bit.ly/A68Ii9 talking about his travel schedule, who he hated to work with, what celebrities he'd like to punch in the face and more.

I didn't see it actually. I mean I never got to go to a classic WcW or WWF PPV.
I'd like to go to one with Rock at least, and it sucked how close it was last year.

Thanks for the Rock promos, he has really insane charisma but I think people expecting him to be able to bury Cena with wit are expecting too much.

Everyone who hates the Rock will be marking out at WrestleMania.

Damn right. I get to see CM Punk and Daniel Bryan as world champions at Wrestlemania. #teampunk

You didn't miss much last year, the opening promo felt scripted and the interference in the main event was predictable. This year's is the one to go to and I wouldn't miss it for anything.

It sucks for me, but Miami isn't driving distance where I could come back home at night. Too broke.

WM 27 was just an appalling clusterfuck for most of the show that seemed to be slapped together completely at the last minute (outside of Undertaker vs. HHH). I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

So guys, I went back to look up an old archived version of ProWrestling.com back when it was a Newz Board. They had a July 24, 1997 version of the site in tact.

WHO'S READY FOR WWF RUMORZ?!?!?

These Are the Latest WWF Rumors :

After RAW is WAR ended and Shotgun taping took place, Shane McMahon beat up Howard Finkel for no apparent reason. Brian Pillman, started brawling with an auidience member named Andy Fish who is a local wrestler. This started after Fish made some remark to Pillman. This will probably not be shown on SHOTGUn but now you know :) (We'll have shotgun taping results tomorrow).

The June 30Th RAW is WAR June 30th SURPRISE WILL BE...sit down for this one folks..... DUSTY RHODES!! IT IS TRUE! HIS COMMENTATOR CONTRACT EXPIRES IN OCTOBER BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHY WCW LET HIM WALK EARLIER. I HAVE CONTACTED SEVERAL SOURCES, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT'S TRUE. I WILL DIG INTO THIS DEEPER BUT REST ASSURED- I AM RIGHT!

Shawn Michaels will not go under contract with the WCW, however he will be backstage in the nWo locker Room during Nitro for the next two weeks. He will show his face at July's In Your House and get in a feud with Bret Hart. As the feud continues Bret will announce a challenge for Summerslam. Again repeating the that if he loses he will not show his face in U.S.A. However, if he wins Shawn Michaels will give up his career. That will give Shawn a chance to go with his best friends at WCW. You heard it first from me. Love it or Leave it Career vs. U.S.A. Summerslam 1997 Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart

Expect at the July IYH to have Bret vs. Shawn with the same stipulations as the KOTR was gonna be and Bret will win to set up a Hart Undertaker match at Summerslam. Expect Michaels and Austin to actually hold onto the straps until Summerslam where Owen and Bulldog will win it back. Expect the Light heavyweight title to raise its weight limit when the tournament starts in the summer to 230lbs where more superstars can compete for it and expect Lief Casidy to be the first champ. The European title will get a big push with the goldust bulldog match on RAW expect Bulldog to win but we will be seeing this belt defended at upcoming PPV's.

Paul Heyman, who has appeared a few times on RAW and is associated with the ECW, may have been signed as a WWF booker. The WWF denies this, but they most likely are just trying to cover it up due to the WWF-ECW feud.

The WWF is unhappy that Sunny has not been in the spotlight over the past few months, so expect to receive a major push. She could join the Hart Foundation or possibly start her own stable.

Did you notice the stitches on the British Bulldog's head? The WWF said that he was cut open by "Stonecold" Steve Austin, but that it is a lie. The truth is, the British Bulldog fell down in the shower and hit his head when he was hit with steaming hot water. He required about 15 stitches after the accident.

Papa Shango has signed a 4 year deal with the WWF, and he should receive a major push. He will probably be involved with the Undertaker/Paul Bearer angle.

Shawn Michaels is unhappy with his situation in the WWF. After RAW he approached Vince McMahon and asked to receive a larger sum of money than Bret Hart, but Vince refused. Shawn Michaels may take the WWF to court over the situation, because there is a clause in his contract that says he will be the highest payed wrestler int the WWF, but Hart is receiving more.

Marc Henry, Rocky Maivia, and Ahmed Johnson may all join the Nation of Domination in the future.

The Legion of Doom has finally signed a contract with the WWF. Expect them to win the tag team titles sometime soon.

The Nasty Boy's may be making a possible return to the WWF.

Demolition should be getting back together within the next few months. They will consist of Crush and Smash, Ax is 54 and the WWF feels he is too old to be involved in any major angles.

Dan Severn, another member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, has signed with the WWF. Look for him to feud with Ken Shamrock.

Lets not kid the kidder here, Cena promo was OK - apart from the fact the things about Rock didn't make sense.
  • Rock wrestling to go do other ventures, so he is a traitor(Cenas logic).
  • Rocky's left to show wrestlers you can do other things in entertainment(Rocky's logic).
  • Cena did crappy straight to DVD's movies to flex is muscle in the entertainment arena(Cena and Rocky logic).
  • Cenas movies weren't as good as Rocky's, therefore Cena is a terrible performer as he needs wrestling(Cenas logic)

Also when Rocky came back:
  • Rocky said he never left and was always here[in WWE] whilst touching his heart meaning hes always thinking about 'the business'
  • Cena was the one doing the dumb ans stupid gay jokes towards Rocky

Finally Rocky can finally say he beat John Cena in Miami.

Their whole feud last WM was bad. I don't want this to be a repeat of that. Cena stepped it up last Monday, now it's time for the Rock.

Should just go back to the Undisputed title. Bestest format.

Thing is, it can't say World Wrestling Entertainment, since that's not the name of the company anymore, lol. It can only say WWE.
