Is it bad that I did not realize at that time that Downey's character was not actually black? A substitute teacher actually showed this movie to my class in HS, and I had no idea who the cast was.

I guessed wrong. Some Youtube "celebrity" found three tweets in a ten months period that only gathered a combined total of one reply and two likes and manufactured a controversy.
I find this more offensive, bad and/or annoying than some dumbfuck teenager learning a weird fact about a movie made when they were in kindergarten.
