Donald Trump's campaign is "pulling out of Virginia," a move that stunned staff in the battleground state, three sources with knowledge of the decision told NBC News.

The decision came from Trump's headquarters in New York and was announced on a conference call late Wednesday that left some Republican Party operatives in the state blindsided. Two staffers directly involved in the GOP's efforts in Virginia confirmed the decision.

The move to pull out of Virginia shows Trump is "running essentially a four state campaign," with the focus now shifting to battlegrounds critical to his chances in November: Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio, a source with knowledge of the decision told NBC News.

Yeah because he already has so much support there, the best support! Virginia is locked up for trump already! Too bad the biased librul media is spinning as a negative. Sad!

I thought this was another scandal thread, I read the title as "pulling out of vagina". Anyways it seems he is going to concentrate on his real goal of making a "News" channel?

It's pretty weird that my state has, barring some massive reorganization by the GOP, gone totally blue in the course of two presidential elections.

Yeah... Plus there are aging zealots who think Trump will A.) actually bring factories/mills back to Pittsburgh, and B.) believe this is somehow a good idea.

The sooner he stops trying to pander to my state, the better.

Trump has been dead in Virginia for months, at least since Kaine was selected as VP.
Going by the Upshot forecast, Clinton has >90% chance to win Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Of the remaining states, Trump MUST win Florida, Ohio, and North Carolina, and then at least 3 more of the remaining swing states.

Upshot has Colorado and New Hampshire at 88% and 89% respectively for Clinton. If she wins those two in addition to Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin, she wins.
