Trump to host Trump re-election fundraiser at Trump hotel

...lacks reading comprehension.
Good luck with a 36% approval rating and dropping. Not to mention he very well could be impeached by Muellers findings or maybe he will just flat out resign by then.

He will just start a war two weeks before the election. America always votes for the president if there is war.

Democrats have a lower approval rating and have won diddly squat since his election.

Edit: I can't remember where I saw the first item.

Yup, lovely number. I also seem to recall the polling numbers estimating his chances of becoming President. And the 25 scandals that followed that would surely be the end of him.

I'm just saying, don't get comfortable.

Just like theresa may called an election like three years before she was suppose to because she thought she would get a way bigger mandate. A lot of people even thought she would destroy labour to. Starting a war just to increase his approval ratings right before an election may just backfire for him

There should probably be a law restricting re-election campaigning during the first couple of years in office, but good luck with that.

Why is he focusing on reelection this early? It won't help him much against the eventual democratic nominee.

It's about stuffing his pockets from not until 2019 - they won't spend much of that money, so if he goes out on his back in 2020 then the rest of that campaign raised money will conveniently disappear into his pockets

How stupid do you have to be to buy in again on a President who still hasn't successfully delivered anything he promised you?

Not a rhetorical question, I actually want to see where the cutoff is on this and if maybe it can be used as a litmus test for college entrance examinations or employment interviews.

Maybe it's time to stop giving the benefit of the doubt to the American people. We're a nation of imbeciles.

This is all such a nightmare. I always click on these posts and instantly regret it. I know it's better to keep informed and that ignoring this stuff is a victory for him, but I don't know how much more of this president I can take.

Honestly, the only place I've seen that is a single poll in April that had hit 34% and a RT article probably based on that poll. Everything else I've seen has been low, but not quite Trump low. Still bad though.

He just loves campaigning, doesn't he? You know what? Let him. If this keeps him from trying to do job, then good.

I wanna smack those accelerationist advocates around the head. Bush should have been the death of the Republican Party but instead you have an even stupider, white supremecist who has made the party that bragged about destroying the Soviet Union the puppets of the Kremlin.

Trump is such a disgrace to human history.

Or maybe he truly is the culmination, the pinnacle of human history

We were the monster all along

...Nah, he should get fucked. This shit is getting much too Nazi like without it being a sensationalized reference.

My wife is even a right leaning Libertarian and she plans on voting straight Dem next election in protest because this shit is so fucked. I'm a left leaning Libertarian, or if at least you can call it that, and I'm trying to maintain principal by reviewing each local candidate. Last election in TX I voted for a Libertarian with a degree in petroleum engineering for railroad commissioner (today it means reviewing fracing, oil, gas), a Democrat for an education board that advocated Science over religion (the Republican was all about Jebus), and a Republican for a legal role.

I try to vote for the best candidate regardless of party but this shit is getting so egregious.

Wait... he's raised 7 for his next campaign 5 months into his first 4 years?

Trump's ego and worldview are so fucked that he most likely is so pissed off that he didn't lose that he's hosting these to continue rallying against some invisible political enemy.

Watch. In the 2020 primaries, he's going to be talking about Hillary Clinton.

You shouldn't look at Trump as a billionaire.

You should look at him as a petty, stingy and greedy person who is hell bent on taking advantages of anything so long as he isn't caught with his pants down.

He will squeeze out every penny from Americans and other countries by virtue of being the president if he can.

The difference is GW Bush did not have an approval rating below 40% before the 2004 presidential election.

Never say never, especially with Americans.

Remember when people bitched about Obama's reelection campaigns, ones that were actually close to the election, for ignoring his job as president?

You just have to appreciate, how Trump dutifully distributes his re-election campaign throughout his term, ensuring that he will not have to lay his work down like the irresponsible Obama close to election by getting all of the reelection work crammed into just a few weeks. In the meantime, he can put all his best into making america greater than it has ever been, to be come a shining example of leadership, solely invested in the interest of his people. His special focus on working class people, ensuring they do not have to waste their hard earned money on useless money siffons like health ensurance but can live the american dream instead is simple admirable.

You're not wrong. He could literally run campaign tours for the rest of his life and prefer that to actually being the president.

I'm surprised we never caught him with a visible boner at a rally but then again, his hands.

not that i'm saying W was a good president all things considered but at least he was competent(it's really amazing how the standards have really dropped with this administration) and had a lot of charisma

I was probably too young, but I also got the feeling that W wanted to generally do what he felt was the right thing (even if it was horribly wrong) unlike Trump who's a conspiracy theorist that wants to take advantage of the system as much as possible for personal gain.
