Twin Peaks Season 3 - Teaser Trailer 'It's Happening Again'

Frost was on Twitter suggesting the errors were deliberate. Please don't ask me for the source though, it was months ago and I don't have time to wade through his seemingly endless Louise Mensch retweets.
Yes I know I meant the in universe authors, my bad.

Just finished watching fire walk with me for the first time, I'm ready as shit. Will watch the deleted scenes by the premier, I don't recall the last time I've been so excited for a show. I think it has to do with how little of it they spoil with the previews, nothing but pure hype.

Mysterious lady from the teaser revealed http://welcometotwinpeaks.com/actors/kathleen-deming-old-lady-twin-peaks-teaser/ (it's not Laura Dern).

The interesting thing is she wasn't on the cast list released ages ago, which that cast list was freaking huge anyways, so who else are they keeping from us?

I wasn't ready.

I had thought he'd be back in it but I hadn't realized what it meant. Was a shock.

I can't wait for season 3, I'm not feeling "excited".

It's like, I never expected it to happen, and so I'm not believing it's back yet. Oddly.

I'll probably get excited when I get around to actually watch it.

I do hope they succeed though, it's a phenomenal show, but I hope they can course correct the initial issues of the show.

And being a "sequel" so late into the game might be a problem, because they need to balance fresh elements and existing "lore". Something FWWM didn't do at all for "newcomers".

The only thing they need to really "fan service" is Cooper and his mental breakdown. And How's Annie. :p

While this is true, one thing is they'll have plenty of time to set up stuff. This new season is about 3/4ths as long as the show's original run (both season 1 & 2 together, the original Twin Peaks series not including the film is about 24-25 hours long between the 30 episodes, while this new season is 18 hours or so long). I'm curious how they'll handle it, but they do have a lot of time to develop things both old and new.

I was wrong about The Secret History of Twin Peaks. First of all, yes, it's absolutely gorgeous. Honestly a steal at the price I got it at, wow.

Also: I was expecting way more cut and dry explanations, "what happened in the 25 years" sort of stuff.. This isn't that. I had no idea there was this big conspiratorial focus. I love that stuff. And the inconsistencies are interesting. I'm sure some of them are legitimate mistakes, others clearly aren't. It's quite intriguing.

An obvious mystery being
Nevermind how is Annie. Where is Annie?

So here I am now, hoping for answers in season 3 to brand new questions, or if not that in the other book Frost's writing. Fun stuff.
