End of an era.
;_;7
Big streamers with music rights almost certainly have the equivalent of YouTube's "managed" status for MCNs, which tells the robot to either ignore certain things on your channel or even to ignore you entirely.
DansGaming is the same way, he used the in-game radio for Fallout and it muted everything.I've been watching PCULL44444 play Fallout and he just tweeted his past broadcasts of it are muted and it's been nothing but in game radio
WELP, isn't this surprising, their software is once again falsely flagging and messing with a bunch of people's vods, and soon actual stream I bet.

Dan was also playing with a mod that added more songs that weren't in the original release.
I think so actually.
I was just looking through various speed run channels and I was hoping I wouldnt find anything![]()
YouTube is like a thousand times better than this actually.Looking through some other Punch Out videos, they don't seem to be muted. So we have our definite answer of how clumsy and dumb this system is if no one could tell already by what happened with Youtube.
Well.. it's only 2 minutes long.

Well I never liked this guy or his channel but I can't help but feel a little bad.
Nah.
Do you think Fred Durst and Ayanami were a sign of what was to come?
It's a Nintendo game, and Nintendo has been pretty shit with content ID's on Youtube.
The most popular games people play and speedrun are Twitch are Nintendo's...
Maybe hasn't gotten to everything yet?
hitbox.tv is getting hammered. Got to make an account, but have trouble opening streams. Anyone else?
"The crime is life, the sentence is death"Twitch plays Pokemon a stream where only Pokemon songs are being used got hit, completely muted vods. Simple this tool they use doesn't care if its ingame or not.
Only funny thing would be if it also muted Steve Aoki vods.
Lol Dan has a reply on their blog post
"Dansgaming an hour ago
I can't log into twitch, I forgot my Google+ Password :-("

I expect the upcoming AMA will either ignore this issue or describe how this is a new system that is being implemented and that they are still figuring stuff out.
I honestly have no idea how big Twitch is in the grand scheme, it's certainly no Youtube at least. Yea, they're being bought out for a billion (whatever that really means) but do they have enough mass to just barrel through this? I'm often surprised hearing about Twitch stuff from people I wouldn't think to know about it but it's a still focused on a gaming niche. Since the live portions are untouched for now, the Fred Dursts of the world streaming their CoD matches wont even notice the but they're hardly the source of the most views. I know Own3D popped up but that failed and now Hitbox is trying. Ustream has it's own set of issues as well.
holy shitEdit: Bahaha, DOTA 2 The Invitational VODs also hit http://www.twitch.tv/dota2ti/b/549093223
I did a 24-hour Last of Us stream last week for charity and its already happened to me. Blocks of the stream have been muted: http://www.twitch.tv/johnny___cullen/b/553426776
Also, Hitbox is getting slaaaaaaamed (I know, I'm trying to make an account).
