Why would you think that Twitter or any Silicone Valley firm gives a flying fuck about victims? They are still men with shit to hide and people to cover for.

They care about making money. Banning famous people because they spoke out about sexual abuse would be a very, very poor strategy.

If it is algorithmic based, it's remarkable how they managed to code it so that it incorporates sexist attitudes. Impressive engineering.
I mean, Microsoft can't even write a Twitter bot that doesn't turn full nazi in a minute, so handling such precise minutia, without blocking people left and right for nothing, but still handling this case in proper scumbag fashion. Remarkable programming.

When people were talking about algorithms above it was in the context of the "too many tweets/too many supported tweets."

But we know it's not now. It was almost certainly a legal threat from another female actress, who had her cell number posted.

The tweeting in succession banning is bullshit. They did that to me when I argued with some nut about blm being a terrorist organization and all I had to do was link my phone number to my account and I was back.

Twitter is the only social space I actually care to visit but it's getting harder between their ridiculous actions and responses to those actions and dumb ass decisions.

in all likelihood, no. I know we're posting on a forum where posts can be edited and deleted at will by moderators, but most companies are prohibited from altering user content directly by their TOS. and that's a good thing.
