Who gives a crap about the money. The fact that Bush didn't make a public statement about the disaster for a relatively long period of time did enough damage to the world-wide reputation of the US regardless of the amount of money donated - not to mention that one of the countries affected is one of the largest Muslim countries in the world I believe.

Since so many have brought it up...I wonder does anyone know if the quoted 15billion aid going to israel is all financial or mostly in the form of military hardware.

The only good thing about this turning into a political pissing contest is that it means more aid for those affected by this tragedy.
