The reason people want Silva/Sonnen 2 is because there is truly nothing else for Anderson at 185. You really want to watch Brian Stann in a PPV main event?

I want the division to shit out so much that he HAS to fight outside the division. I know he's said it over and over again, but Dana keeps bringing up Anderson - GSP. It's gotta happen eventually, I mean who else is left for either guy if GSP beats Diaz??

To me the definitive moment to sum up Hawaii MMA was when BJ beat Gomi then the ring announcer patted him on the back and BJ turned around with his hands up ready to scrap because Hawaii is just that kind of place.

What's funny looking at sonnen's record is he's literally 0-3 against Jeremy Horn and has been subbed by Babalu LOL. The guy has such a unremarkable resume, he really has gotten his fame over his mouth and one fight that he lost. I hope Stann just ends him so they can just push Anderson vs. GSP or whoever.

He beat Paulo Filho!

*snicker*

Forrest: "If I knew it was going to end like that I would not have accepted this fight" Lol...

He's funny, and even said he couldn't use the excuse that his mind was not set in the fight because of his personal life (baby, wife, away from home, etc.).

True enough. I just don't get rallying behind someone who was busted for using PEDs. I feel like you fail that test once, your career should just be over. He was cheating, he still lost, so he should fuck off.
Hate to break the news to you but it is very prevalent in combat sports. It's more of a question of who doesn't use it.

Which is why they should come down harder on them when they are busted. I bet if you started flat at voiding peoples UFC contracts if they tested positive, usage would drop. The whole "everybody does it" excuse does't really fly for me.

Seeing BJM and Senior Official Yuji Shimada working the same card is a weird worlds colliding moment even though I'm sure it's happened before.

Watching Ariel's interview with him, you get the sense that he rather watch Game of Thrones than be in Brazil fighting Shogun. I guess the purse for the fight will help out all the personal stuff he has going right now. I'm also getting the feeling that he is losing motivation to train, kind of like a Chris Lytle situation where his heart really isn't in it anymore, maybe after he settles down with his first child, It'll get him motivated again.

*Game of Thrones is awesome and i don't blame Forrest, he seemed like he was there for the money and not to fight.

Yeah his interview was like "WTF?" He said he hates doing this, hates people, it just came off weird and silly. He looked like a slug in his fight completely unmotivated.

So GSP/Anderson happens and then what? GSP continues crushing the Welterweight division and Anderson continues his calm stroll through Middleweight?

The most interesting thing that can happen is for both guys to move up permanently.

How about they get rid of the dumb ass ban? Which would lead to better recovering times and more fights for the top guys. It's a stupid ban from a time when the American athletic commission knew nothing about steroids.

Would rather watch two guys at their physical peak than two guys that gas in the second round.

Forrest has said in multiple interviews that it's stopped being fun and now it's just a job for him. Since the Anderson fight, he hasn't been the same.

As for Anderson, he tooled Okami and made it look easy. His hand speed in slo-motion is even fast. It's sick. I want to see him fight the winner of Stann/Sonnen then fight Bones at 195 and call it a career.

If it's exciting, have a trilogy of fights like Ali-Frazier.

anderson should retire. hes cleared out his division. some random jobber will beat him at some point sooner rather than later. its just downhill from here.

seriously.

Yes because steroid use has no side effects and is beneficial.

Diaz is going to get tooled even worse than Okami, but won't get finished.
Which is sad.

Also, I thought Okami looked fine in the first round. Obviously he got tooled in the second though.

I want forgiveness from the whole communit as I/m drunk as fuck and running away from Irene at the same time and Evilore I know you visit these threads so please don't mock me (or ban me or give me an embarrassing tag) :) and I know I embarrassed myself last time I posted drunk but FUCK YEA.

I think this will be huge for Brazil to get the sport to the level it deserves

Shogun setting the record straight
Anderson setting the record straight
Big Nog saying I'm not done and Brendan can go fuck himself with this "Legend Killer" wanna be status.
Barbosa getting a gift decision, kinda upset about that though, don't like to see people winning gifts.
Thiago looking horrible but still winning
All other brazilian fighters winning
and fuck yeah

I do hope that this gets more sponsorship for the fighters in Brazil, please remember Brazil is only really good at soccer, volleyball, and MMA. Everything else we suck at, the crowd was rowdy and rude, yes, but it's always gonna be like that in "soccer" countries, especially Latin American countries. MMA has never gotten recognition or sponsorship in the country, hopefully this will change it. FWIW boxing and wrestling are looked down upon and known as poor man's sports there but hey, it's never too late to change it right?

As we say in Brazil, Banha estragou a festa brasileira. Mas eh isso, forca irmao vc tava ganhahando, na proxima tu fica mais ligado.

Just so people don't think i'm an unreasonable patriotic naturalist, two of my favorite fighters of all time are Randy and Fedor and I would cheer for them against alomst anybody.

Again fuck yeah.

Only one more to go...

You're the man and don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Again sorry for embarrassing myself again, my laptop battery is about to die and I wouldn't be able to post new posts even if I wanted to but I'm just hoping MMA finally gets its most needed recognition it deserves in Brazil.

look if you're not interested in a MMA card where a Hawaiian comes out to Kid Rock's Cowboy and gets his face vaselined by a guy who looks like a caucasian Mr Miyagi I don't even know what to say to you

reagan gon beat dat ass

Woo both the dude's from my town won! Oh and apparently my aunt's husband is Rafael Cordeiro's father in law. I think that's one of the dudes that trained Silva, idk I don't follow UFC that much, but's it's pretty cool.

Fighting has no side effects either. Ali is the way he is because he slipped in the shower.
Meaningless. How exactly does heaping more harm upon the body improve matters?

Ali would be better off with Parkinson's, emotional issues, breasts, a brain tumor and a shunken dick now?

you missed some wicked scrapping just now brah motherfucker even faceplanted like a haole running away from hilo after getting beat down

Man I felt bad for him when the announcers said it was such a disappointment. He was doing pretty good, imo.

Man I laughed when the caps were stolen, I was watching with a group of people and we all started making jokes about it. Only in Brazil these motherfuckers be stealing the fighter's caps and shit :lol :lol.

And PED's have came along way in the last twenty years. HGH has almost none of those side-effects and even cuts down on rage issues. Of course, you, like much of the people of the internet, just hear about these side effects and think it is all true. Some cocktails ( very expensive pharmaceutical mix) users have no signs of any use and no side effects.

and they don't shirk your dick. While cycling your balls shrivel up but go back to normal once you are off of it and continue to use therapy pills that help re-balancing your testosterone.

However, if you think it is ok to ban something like steroids, you obviously must be against Alcohol. See how its long term effects far out weigh those of steroids. Anyways I am done talking with someone whom's only exposure of PED are from watching 80's action flicks and second account anecdotes they read on the internet.
