Surprised "Who is Theresa May?" isn't in the top 5.

I voted labour because I couldn't vote against policies I've fought for while a lab member and in the last few years with the snp.

It's okay, I stand by Labour gains are fine. I'm just a bit gutted as Mhairi's speeches on Trident and Benefits were good from such a young candidate.

So 302 seats for Tories means, even though it's more than Labour, they need to get several other parties onside to get things passed, meaning they don't have a majority?

Australian here, so kind of trying to grasp the goings on here. Between this and the Comey stuff, it's a fascinating time to be an outsider.

They could form a minority government and rely on support from the DUP. Depends on the final tally.

So if I'm to understand Boxer's take, it's that indyref2 will happen, but the exit polls for SNP suggest the result will be Remain in the UK.
Well you can't quite use these polls to predict what the outcome of an independence referendum would be. The main two factors being that 16 and 17 year olds would be able to vote as well as residents - not the case with tonight's election.

That said, the opinion polls specifically regarding independence are still in favour of remaining in the UK, but have frequently shown a narrow potential result.

It's why many were surprised that Nicola Sturgeon was quick to put it back on the table, but it was an attractive option given the EU referendum and the pro-UK campaign's insistence that the only way to remain in the EU was to vote against independence.

And of course, 62% of those who voted in Scotland, voted to remain in the EU.

Need 326 for the queens speech. Can't get the queens speech through you don't have a govt.

This guy in the glasses on Sky News looks like the guy in glasses in Commando.

EDIT: Retweeted by Dan Hodges: "Lots of residents who work in the City who are seriously angry about Brexit and who don't want to move to Frankfurt...."

There we go. Saved by the suits.

Meanwhile on Channel 4, Judge Rinder has been brought on as a pundit, Paxman is ready to shout at anyone saying "it's too early to tell" and played sad violin for Alistair Cambell, while David Mitchell argues their show shouldn't even be on air right now.

It's everything you'd want and more.

This woman on the bbc might be the very definition of Smug, her face is almost collapsing from it.

It's really funny and a little jarring to see a Emily Thornberry on television (and going hard on Michael Fallon during the campaign) when the guy who sacked her is out there somewhere.

YouGov's model, which seemed bonkers, continues to be pretty spot on.

No reason to fully believe just yet, just as no reason to fully doubt the exit poll, but it's worth keeping an eye on.
