My Labour share jumped up 20% with the 5 extra questions. Bizarre.

Liberal Democrats:
73%

Green Party:
47%

Conservative Party:
46%

Labour Party:
43%

UK Independence Party:
42%

British National Party:
26%

So Tories, Labour, and UKIP are pretty much the same then?

Just above UKIP
Well like they say, ignorance is bliss. :p

But honestly, I doubt I would have got a high score for BNP - I'm far more liberal on social issues (though I noticed the telegraph didn't ask questions on liberal issues). It is really only my economic individualism that pushes me to the right on these quizzes and relative to my economic view, the BNP are practically Marxists!

The bill has passed. What a load of bullshit.

Fucking disgraceful. 30 of the fuckers in the chamber listening to the debate yet a couple of hundred were sat in the fucking pub waiting for the lobby vote. Wankers.

Sad days. I don't know how getting a bill through works, but hopefully this can be rejected.

Also, this Telegraph writer on Question time is fucking annoying.

Why is it that, both in the UK and Australia, moves are being made to limit internet access and the like, but not in the United States? I have some ideas as to why, but I want to know what others think.

As I'm not British, I couldn't answer some of the questions, most notably the reform of the British political system. But based on more universal issues like international affairs, defense, environment, economy and such, these were my results.

This will be my first general election (just missed out on the last one by a couple of months) and I have to say, I have no idea who I'm going to vote for. To be hoenst I don't really like the idea of any of these bastards running the country. :lol

Miliband is speaking in sound bites. fucking face on and face off (or whatever it was)

what the fuck. some 12 year old just said "socialists cant be great" what the fuck does he know? his opinions are probably influenced by his parents.

Deep down I dont think I really care about the politicians, the parties and the policies. I just love all this political stuff because its the greatest drama series on television.

The most exciting thing this election, outside of the glimmering hope of a hung parliament, is knowing that all this drama is feeding into the next series of The Thick of It.

Hopefully someone will give him the complete works of Orwell for his 13th birthday.

Also, one of the dudes voted against ebill and was quite vocal against it was Tom Watson. Never heard of him before but his performance tonight gives me abit of respect for him.

Absolutely horrible; do politicians really wonder why so many refuse to vote when they pull stuff like this? Not to mention that so few MPs even know the basic consequences of such a bill.

On another note, I was kinda surprised with Ming Campbell tonight, he seemed the only one to come out well after that. That audience was pretty poor as well - far too many people making general statements and not asking, you know, questions.

Its a first for my brother and he basicly said
"I dont give a fuck, what have they ever done for me"
Then picked up the leaflets of two of the guys and read through them questioning everything on it
"Two sons and two daughters!? do you know them? I dont. Ever seen this guy before? says hes a football fan? Never seen him at a local game."

It was quite amusing but abit sad aswell.

Not really sure who to vote for tbh.. give me a bullet pointed list for each party :lol

Also

Conservative Party:

61%
UK Independence Party:

49%
Labour Party:

44%
British National Party:

40%
Liberal Democrats:

33%
Green Party:

27%

Was not expecting that tbh.

Weird result for me in the Telegraph's thing:

Conservative Party
52%

Liberal Democrats
46%

Green Party
40%

Labour Party
30%
They don't call it the Torygraph for nothing...

I've accepted the fact that I don't fit neatly into any one party's manifesto, though, so I'm likely to get widely differing results. Very pro-Europe so definitely not a Tory voter, but I agree with the Lib Dems on the majority of things. Nuclear power is one of the few areas where I'm completely the opposite of their policy.

will gently cradle you as time slowly ticks away.
According to the Telegraph:

Liberal Democrats: 57%
Scottish National Party: 56%
Labour Party: 54%

Sounds about right.

I think i'll add them to the OP later today (morning).
Do you guys have a Ninja Party? :p

Edit - Oh, and just because I was curious:
Labor Party: 58%
Liberal Democrats: 52%
Green Party: 40%

I put down "skip" for about a fourth of the questions because I didn't know enough about the issue to have any idea what the fuck they were asking/talking about. No matter where I am, though, reforming the government so that it represents the people as best as it can, and making sure it has the people's best interest as the number one priority, will probably always be my number one issue. If you have that, the rest should follow.

I'm voting LibDem still but these percentages suggest I need a period of self-reflection....

Party
UK Independence Party: 71%
British National Party: 64%
Conservative Party: 45%
Liberal Democrats: 36%
Green Party: 23%
Labour Party: 13%

I'm assuming it's because the populist policies appeal to my early morning tired mind.

That's two policy-based polls that give you BNP/UKIP as your party of choice, isn't it? Maybe you just have to accept that you're a closet Nazi. :D

Yup. Two in a row :(

I answered 'Yes' to 'England should have a separate parliament' but none of the others struck me as especially BNP/UKIP other than 'Should Foreign Born Criminals Be Deported?' to which I answered 'No' because I feel the severity of the crime and time of residence needed defining.

I know I can be a bit 'off' at times but I didn't have myself down as the full-on-foaming-at-the-mouth-Mail-reading-white-van-man. Perhaps I ought to re-consider that Cobweb tattoo on my forehead. Is there an 'Am I a closet Nazi' personality test?

Maybe, just maybe not every Conservative/right wing voter is like that? I think that's the common misconception that the three major parties have/had allowed the BNP to sneak up in support.

Edit: Grammar

Neither UKIP nor the BNP will enact any of their policies in actuality. They're useless bunches of people focusing on single interests masquerading as legit parties. In order to flesh out a manifesto beyond "Fuck the UK, Fuck Immigrants, ENGLAND FOREVER!!!" they insert very popular and sensible policies. I wouldn't want them in charge of my country though.

I'll be voting LibDem simply through a process of elimination. I'm not hot on the Conservatives (old enough to remember last time), Fuck Labour with a sharp stick, they're diametrically opposite to me, The Greens are a non-starter for me and neither UKIP nor the BNP should be in charge of anything more important than checking pay & display car parks for valid tickets. Just leaves me LibDem. I don't find them offensive so they win.

Unless The Monster Raving Loony Party field a candidate in my area.

So is there any party I can vote for that will sort out the Digital Economy bill or is that pretty much through and all the parties are happy with it?

Could be worse dave your choice of party could extend to just the DUP, UUP/tory, SDLP and Sinn Fein.

Even that. And didn't the press [and MPs] misreport the situation as being one of European legislation rather than the faulty British implementation of a directive?

Also, there were existing mechanisms for ensuring linguistic ability and competence at the application stage which should have been followed but weren't.
