I was hoping to spice things up for you but I'm on the left as well. Right on the border between Libertarian and Authoritarian. I thought being a fascist would have put me on the right.

Edit: I'm pretty much where Jibril is ^

I wasn't too far off you, where I would have put myself without answering the questions.

Economic Left/Right: -3.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.38

He keeps bringing up Lord Ashcroft to try and shift the emphasis off his avoidance and onto the tories. So boring.

:lol how long have you been watching politics for?

About 5 years ago I was a total politics junkie until one day I realised - nothing ever happens. Change is illusory, even change between parties is only a changing of faces from one side of the house to the other. And it's such a boys club, it's so unrepresentative of the country or society, it's just rich boys scoring points off each other. Blah.

not very long, but i do know that is business as usual for PMQ's, hence the so boring comment. just thought maybe brown could vary his diversions somewhat.

But that would break the game of trying to be really boring and uninspiring! Just you wait till next year when Cameron is PM, we'll be just as sick of him soon enough...

just talked about booze then

something about cyder being taxed 10% above inflation or something. other booze by 2%. wiating for it to appear on the info cause flat mate was distarcting me lo.

But duty on cider will be increased by 10% above inflation from Sunday. And definitions will change, so strong ciders are taxed more heavily.

how much is that in real terms

Dunno, wait until the newspapers start doing comparisons...

also
He will also stop people living in the most expensive houses being eligible for housing benefit. (That's a sop to the Daily Mail, which is often running stories about asylum seekers in plush London mansions.)
The Guardian took the Daily Mail comment right out of my mouth.

best bit so far
Cuts will be made to housing benefit paid to those in very expensive properties, the chancellor says.
no more fucking scroungers with big families living in mansion on our money

wasn't disagreeing. was just agreeing with the guardian comment about the mail, less moral panicz.

pretty sure i just heard him say VIDEOGAMES!!!!!!

Came to check if there were any posts about the help for computer games sector... the UK industry has been asking for that for ages. No particular measures / figures though :p

Yeah that was pretty awesome. I love the rabble rabble rabble moments! :lol

Closing tax loopholes and fighting exiles and avoidance can only be a good thing.

are you an imbecile? Perhaps we should elect a random 4chan member as the next Prime Minister for his "lulz potential"?

I hate Cameron so much. He literally has nothing better to say than "BROWN IS BAD, LOOK THEY DID ALL THE BAD" somehow ignoring the entire rest of the world in a recession :lol

:lol Charles Kennedy coming out very well just standing in silence

Same thing happened on monday's Newsnight clash between Mandelson and Ken Clarke, the poor lib dem business guy just sat there in silence for most of it as the other two squabbled.

So, let me get this straight, most of you want a hung parliament in the hopes that it'll force one of the two major parties to work together or with some of the other smaller parties? If that produces results, what sort of results would they be?

The best case scenario in my eyes has always been a hung parliament between Labour and the Lib Dems, with the Lib Dems more lefty principles bleeding back into "New Labour" and the Torys off in a corner crying while Cameron's synthetic flesh starts to degenerate and reveal the scales beneath.

This is of course the complete opposite of what will happen.

Paxman gave him some attention out of pity though.
