If you find the "strange relic" treasure in the game, you will quickly recognize it to be a precursor orb from the Jak games. There are strange symbols wrapped around the orb. These symbols correspond to letters of the alphabet as already known from the Jak games. So I used this to decipher it:

The top row of the egg says "naughty dog".

The bottom row with bigger symbols says "manmad".

At first I thought, what the hell is a manmad? So i googled it.

It seems that Manmad is the name of a city in India.

It kinda makes sense. I don't know much about India but it sounds like there could be treasure in there somewhere.

I did some Google Image hunting and found this link. It looks like it would fit perfectly into the Uncharted theme. Even looks like some of the areas in Uncharted may have taken inspiration from here.

Assuming all the symbols wrap around the orb without spaces between them, it's more likely that it says 'madman' and not 'manmad.'

I'd think it'd be great just for the sheer variety of climate types available to the story writers and devs.

Deserts, Tropical Forests and the Arctic mountain ranges of the Himalayas are with in hours of each other in India, imagine Drake having to climb Everest???

oh boy... oh go on, i'll open the can of worms....

when i played Army of Two , i thought "this is probably what a two player Uncharted could be like" (obviously on a very BASIC level)

not that it wouldn't be awesome, i have every faith in ND, but i think AoT would remove some of the uniqueness (obviously though you'd expect ND's Uncharted scale to be much larger)

Well don't quite agree with the gunplay setup remark but the rest i agree with you. Hopefully they open up the multiplayer with different kind of modes, but the basic modes still would feel weird. But time will tell, hopefully Naughty Dog comes up with some good idea's.

Yeah they've been working on locations since the first released. My suggestions would be to add a dedicated grenade button and the ability to crouch and walk while crouching.
