Considering he/she is playing with m+kb, gameplay looks much better than UnchartedWow, that looks terrible.

Sure. And aim assists are excellent. No, third person games always look awful with a mouse controlling the camera.
Sure. And aim assists are excellent.
How?Aiming is better with a mouse, controlling a camera is better with a controller.
How?
So I can turn five times per inch with much less limited speeds and more accuracy but somehow is not better. Got it.For one, you can continuously turn it without having to do it bit by bit, lifting the mouse in-between (yeah, yeah, I know you probably have crazy sensitivity where you can rotate five full turns per inch of mouse movement). And it just feels smoother. To be clear, I'm talking about the orbiting type of third person camera the Uncharted games have. I'm always moving the camera "cinematically" in these games.

Cinematic third person games are not COD, they're not about twitch turning.
You can choose whatever speed you want to turn.Cinematic third person games are not COD, they're not about twitch turning.
What you are basically saying is that you enjoy having a more deficient way of controlling the camera because you think its more cinematic. People arguing for the supremacy of an input tool that mandates assists for every gesture you make in a game will never stop being hilarious. "This tool is so amazing at gaming, that developers need to code systems that do the tasks for me, while giving me the illusion that im good at the game". Thats the definition of awesome, isnt it ? When you require developers assitance do to shit in a game. With a mouse you can be as cinematic as you like. Lower the dpi until the camera barelly crawls if thats your thing. Although for actuall gameplay, you actually want to be able to aim where you shoot in a 1:1 motion, not actuating a crane like control and wait until the crosshair gets there
Steam is apparently July 15th, today is the epic game store.Apparently it is not.
No way... Sony never did epic exclusivity... oh man that sucks shitSteam is apparently July 15th, today is the epic game store.
It's one of the main parts of the gameplay. Now it will not suck anymore.Aiming is not main gameplay draw here.
It didn't suck before... and it's not even main part of firefights reallyIt's one of the main parts of the gameplay. Now it will not suck anymore.
Sure. Dat incredible speeds and accuracy of the right analog stick without aim assist. It didn't suck before... and it's not even main part of firefights really

? I don't understand... At least I never had any issue aiming in this game.Sure. Dat incredible speeds and accuracy of the right analog stick without aim assist.
Do you even mouse? You don't need to be competing and can play at whatever speed you want with it.? I don't understand... At least I never had any issue aiming in this game.
You know it's not a competition right? And You can play at your own leisure to relax... right?

I know. You want pictures of me playing with an expensive mouse? Is it that time of the week yet?Do you even mouse? You don't need to be competing and can play at whatever speed you want with it.
I lean back on my mattress using m+kb. More comfy than any chair or couch. The point of game is (or at least should be) be the best possible. Again, it's also about aiming. If you have fun with aim assists/auto-aim, good for you, I don't even see a point in playing like this being fooled by the game that I am "good" at aiming.I know. You want pictures of me playing with an expensive mouse? Is it that time of the week yet?
And You can also be comfy leaning back with a controller and still aim very good + haptics and so on...
Comfort is relative. You like playing with a mouse and keyboard, it's fine. I also play like that on pc of course.
But making it about "bruh duh you can finally aim with mouse, it was shit with controller" is completely missing the whole point of the game. It's not about aiming. In fact, a good game should be just as fun with autoaim just to prove that clicking on heads is not a main mechanic.
Ok but you are talking about getting comfortable and then about being competitive.I lean back on my mattress using m+kb. More comfy than any chair or couch. The point of game is (or at least should be) be the best possible. Again, it's also about aiming. If you have fun with aim assists/auto-aim, good for you, I don't even see a point in playing like this being fooled by the game that I am "good" at aiming.
If that is how we are going to be about this.....then you are never really "aiming" in any game.I lean back on my mattress using m+kb. More comfy than any chair or couch. The game can be pretty challenging on Crushing. I have finished almost all Uncharted in crushing and it's been a good but challenging experience. UC4 is the only one that I haven't done this with.Ok but you are talking about getting comfortable and then about being competitive.
If the only reason you play games is to challenge yourself, you will not like this game... Maybe on higher difficulty but it's this annoying higher difficulty
You like using a mouse. Others like using a controller. That's all it is.Do you even mouse? You don't need to be competing and can play at whatever speed you want with it.
So the same can be said about analog stick aiming. At least one is fooling much much less. You never really are aiming so yeah, if you like games fooling you into thinking you are good at anything, then I guess, good for you!
You are correct, you definitely can say that.So the same can be said about analog stick aiming. At least one is fooling much much less.
If that is how we are going to be about this.....then you are never really "aiming" in any game.
If you are using a mouse, then you are simply using the interaction the mouse is designed to allow; you are then using that interaction to place the 'indicator' over in-game people to simulate shooting. You never really are aiming so yeah, if you like games fooling you into thinking you are good at anything, then I guess, good for you!
What you really should be saying is how good you are at using the mouse and using the interaction it allows you!

No one is saying otherwise about this. But what others like more doesn't make it less efficient for the gameplay. You like using a mouse. Others like using a controller. That's all it is.
yeah but it's this bad type of challenging where you die from random shots. The game can be pretty challenging on Crushing. I have finished almost all Uncharted in crushing and it's been a good but challenging experience. UC4 is the only one that I haven't done this with
Third person games feel really weird with a mouse IMO. I think most people play these type of games with a controller. No one is saying otherwise about this. But what others like more doesn't make it less efficient for the gameplay.
*Donut DrakeFat Drake Mod:
I bet the trilogy will be stuck in 1080p blurry land forever now... at least it's 60fpsA real shame, and a missed opportunity, that the Nathan Drake Collection isn't coming to pc first...if at all.
I'd love to replay those games on pc, and I'm sure newcomers to the series would want to play the original trilogy before
Uncharted 4, but whatever, I guess.
No they don't. What you may call weird may be the "WASD" movement on keyboard. Camera/aiming controls on mouse is supreme.Third person games feel really weird with a mouse IMO. I think most people play these type of games with a controller.
For FPS I agree. Feels horrible on third person action games though. Did you play Elden Ring with M&K?No they don't. What you may call weird may be the "WASD" movement on keyboard. Camera/aiming controls on mouse is supreme.
Maybe they've come to their senses but I won't hold my breath lol.Yeah no one knows...like 99% of whatever Sony is doing. It's weird tbh.
We are talking about shooters. Anything that have a cross hair in the screen. Elden Ring bow gameplay is much better with mouse+kb, but still sucks a lot.For FPS I agree. Feels horrible on third person action games though. Did you play Elden Ring with M&K?

Maybe it got pushed to next year because Spider-Man is coming out this year?So anyone know where this is? It’s pretty frustrating that it was announced back in January and released on PS5 and here we are, waiting for the release date still…
nah. Look back at 2011 and other years... It's allowed to release more than 1-3 games per month... not per yearMaybe it got pushed to next year because Spider-Man is coming out this year?
