Nice living in a small town. I showed up and the only people there were those running the polls, the Constable, and some other citizens chatting with them. There were two electronic voting machines and after I showed my ID I stepped right into one and was out of there in 30 seconds.

Voted for Obama!

Bad news (in the traditional sense of the word, you poligaf nuts) is that I live in Northern Kentucky. If I just lived 200 yards North, it would matter. Then again, I'd have to live in Ohio. So it's a fair trade-off.

I also voted Independent every chance I got besides president, because fuck America.

They also had something about hunting rights on the ballot. My reaction was: "Who gives a shit?"

I'd say just about 0 because this term will affect 2016 elections. When they don't help, hopefully they will be voted out in 2014.

Exactly why it's important to begin the discussions of holding back progress immediately if when they play the obstructionist game. From day one of the occurrence.

Fixed your video link for you ;)

Actually, you know, it's a pretty well made ad. I mean obviously it's out to lunch in terms of content and Obama isn't going to take away your guns, but the actual production wasn't bad. I was half expecting him to fire one off indoors.

It's funny, because John Barrow is a Democrat, just got gerrymandered out of his district by Republicans, and all the ads I've seen against him for years are all "DID YOU KNOW THAT JOHN BARROW IS A SATANIST OBAMA SUPPORTER!??!?"

This is a shrinking demographic, the more they alienate pretty much anyone that isn't rich and white. The problem will solve itself if they keep it up.

I really hope so, I'm thinking this may sort itself out in 10-20 years as the old white people...get older and well... you know.

correct about everything
Has Paul Ryan been doing anything lately? I don't remember hearing anything about him since that soup kitchen incident. Left the sinking ship?

Black Panthers are up to shenanigans again and fox news is jumping at the chance to make it their headline.

I really would like to know if anyone on those sets leaves work only to throw up as soon as they get home. If they all are able to sleep well at night or if they ever feel bad at the crap that gets spewed daily.

Nate Silver will have either a very good or very bad day.

For all the Silver loling I do, actually the Silver humper loling, in reality he's just basing things off the polls. If the polls are wrong, what can he do? It's not like PECOTA, baseball players either get a hit or they strike out. You'd think that was much more solid statistical predictions than election polling considering how derp a lot of voters are.

You do realize they are breeding and have kids who many of them are indoctrinated just as heavily as their parents?

The Romney campaign now saying internals attributed to their pollster Neil Newhouse showing Mitt up in Ohio, tied in WI, PA "are incorrect"

Romney spox, just now in an email: "The numbers attributed to [Neil Newhouse] are incorrect, hence, not his."

Honest mistake or poller trying to cover his ass at the last minute?

I signed up for that $5 Amazon credit through Scott, and, well...

Real subtle Scott. Real subtle.

I think there is definite fall off as kids don't follow their parents views 100% well ever. The states are getting more liberal over time, look at the view of gay rights from those under 25.

It's Newhouse telling Romney to save his reputation before Mittens gets trounced tonight.

EDIT: Semi-seriously though, Ryan was the designated victim of "stupidest candidates photos" this campaign. Like Michael Dukakis in the tank, or plastic-wrapped John Kerry.

Our ballot never had a #4--what was it?

I was surprised to see Gary Johnson and shit on the ballot though--thought he was only on ballet in Colorado, lol.

#4 was non-binding...along the lines of "would you like to see your Senator vote to repeal federal prohibition of marijuana."

Maybe it was a precinct thing?

When it comes to enduring domestic policies, Nixon's up there with LBJ. The Equal Rights Amendment, enforcing desegregation, and environmental conservation efforts.

Yep, and on a foreign policy standpoint he was the one that improved relations with China. It was also Nixon who wanted to implement a universal healthcare system in the US.
