This is the state of the race IMO.

Why do you have Nevada red

I got a question. Florida voter, basically how do i go about voting all the judges and lower representatives. Im picking Democrats but there is no affiliation for these judges

Tuesday is going to be wild. I have no idea what to expect, in all honesty.

That said, as a Massachusetts resident, I'm really curious as to how my state votes on Questions 1-4. I'm going to be honest and say I REALLY hope that Question 4 (legalized marijuana) passes since it's one of those "progressive" things I think could really help our state. There are revenue benefits, obviously, and I'm just all for defeating the social stigma. As one who partakes in marijuana, obviously there are self-interests. I'm still on the job search so I've been clean for over two months but once I'm in the clear again I'd love to be able to walk in some "store" and just select a strain and buy. It shouldn't be a big deal. Treating pot like we treat alcohol makes a ton of sense to me. I feel like those who say "we already have medical marijuna, that should be good enough for anybody that needs it" doesn't understand how there are still too many restrictions on use. It's not like everybody who can benefit gets approval from their doctor. Make it legal and you solve multiple issues at once.

In my heart I also want to see an end to inhumane confinement of animals.

The other two questions seem split. I'm not particularly invested in them. Casinos, whatever. Charter Schools? I'd rather not see them expanded since I favor further funding for public schools instead. Additionally, I have a roommate who's a teacher who's convinced me to vote NO so I guess, as I side with her, I'm invested in the decision being NO overall.

I voted democrat all around for everything else, especially state rep. Unfortunately there weren't any "Bernie-crats" on the ballot but whatever. I feel like every time I've voted Republican in the past I've been burnt. All dem from here on out until something changes.

Anyway, if it's not clear, I already voted. This was the first year that MA had early voting so I decided to go on Tuesday while I was running errands. Wanted to get it out of the way. Easy process. I'm glad to have avoided going on the 8th.

I searched them both online. In my case one was the incumbent and the other was a clown (based on reading their websites). There was one guy though, a prosecutor that I voted for.

I think this is like the only map Republicans can even dream of and I expect we will see it out there being shared by other hopefuls. But Nevada is gone, early voting says as much, so Trump is going to have to hope that something is wrong there on the Blue side of things.

Im more asking because on the official ballot there are like 10 judges questions if the justices should remain in office. Do i just say yes or no to them all?

I don't know about Florida specifically, but in Illinois we often have tons of judges on the ballot. At least here the bar associations do ratings of how qualified the candidates are. I lean pretty heavily on those.

There have been a lot of reports about minority turn out, but has there been anything on the youth vote? Are they showing up?

The guy from the apprentice is running for president wtf?

I ain't voting for that guy.

Can't wait until this shit is over.

I thought he was up by 3/5 there?

He hasn't been shown ahead in any poll.

If Ohio goes Trump I will be so disappointed. I did my part and voted but I doubt my county will go blue.

I think this is the closest state. It'll be within a point for either candidate. Portman has senate on lock though. I think Hillary's GOTV will help her get a slight edge here. If Trump does win it, Ohio may not be the bellwether state it once was.

My final predictions:

President

Rethink Nevada. Hillary is already ahead of where Obama was for early voting in 2012 and he won by nearly 6 points.

Just because you want it to be close doesn't mean it is.

I'm not American and I'm just observing this whole thing, but I've got to say that a second straight Electoral College decline for the Democratic Party is reasonably possible, even likely from most polling. Scary to think about given the alternative candidate, but we'll see on Tuesday.

I don't think that map is accurate, but even without Nevada that map is closer and very well might be true (+ Florida).

I'm Mexican so I will follow this election very closely and I just freaking hope y'all Americans don't dissapoint us as a human race and let -you know who-, to win the election............

As a UK citizen having recently experienced the outcome of the EU referendum, I hope everyone takes this election very seriously. Do not miss out on voting, because the other side certainly will not.

Every day I fear that my US friends will experience a similar fate to ours. The victory of the leave campaign has helped to normalise bigotry here, leading to a spike in hate crime; some of this I have even seen in person and it is horrific. A Trump victory would likely have a similar effect and on a grander scale. Imagine all the horrible things he has said about minorities, women, and other groups being normalised. Imagine all the hate speech being spewed daily by his followers being normalised. If he wins, it will empower these people and some of them will think they are invincible.

I'm not trying to fear monger. These are my honest feelings. Having said that, I hope everyone exercises their right to vote, regardless of whom they support.

Around here I've seen a good mix of Hillary and Trump signs I just got to hope Ohio has more decent people than deplorable ones. I have a cousin who just had another kid just so she could get back on WIC and Welfare and she has the nerve to say others who use any kind of welfare are lazy people and how Trump would stop them. It boggles my mind on so many levels.

Too close imo...at first glance, Hillary wins NV, OH, NC and then FL.

We need to stop pretending that OH is a swing state. It's all red now. She's been fuckin the Republicans in the back of their Volkswagen for years. Just still nervous to introduce him to her parents.

This is my prediction. Clinton will win, but not by as much as she should IMO, popular vote will end up pulling for her by around 4%.

I've been seeing Nevada and NH red a lot... why?

Nevada has been red on 538 for the past few days.

NH is red because that's the next closest state and he has to win it to win the election, but he's still behind by 3 points and isn't going to make up the margin. There's simply not enough time left.

Trump's only chance at this point is if the transit strike depresses turnout in Philadelphia enough for him to win PA.

The polls have tightened significantly in New Hampshire. In Nevada... Hillary has been down in a good portion of the polls, but early voting basically voids those polls.

Okay but yeah why is NH red in the first place? Was it red in 2012 and 2008?

Checking in with my final prediction.

Had to really restrain myself and not give Hillary Arizona. Feel like I should have given Ohio to Trump because they deserve each other, but meh.
