Interesting to see how it'll play with tighter controls. Not to say that it's not responsive as all get out, but with a controller I think it'd be more manageable.

I've actually already owned a Vita in the past so I've already played all the big retail games, I'll be mainly focusing on the indies/digital releases.
First things first, I'll be buying Severed.
Axiom Verge.
I MIGHT get Nuclear Throne, or Isaac, I can't decide, I want to try get into that genre, but I don't know which of the two is most accessible.
I'm going to get that Mutant blob attacks game.
I think that's it for now. I'm sure I have a hell of a lot to catch up on.

Hmm, I wouldn't say they are so much worse as to make a huge difference when playing, but they are worse. Most of the time you are so far zoomed out you can barely notice, but if you are the type of player who wants pin-sharp edges on body armour etc in the cut scenes, then you'll notice.
Personally I love it and have the PS3 games as well as the Vita port, but then graphics have never really been something I care that much about- I'm as happy playing tactics games with SD visuals as I am playing them with miniatures or board game tokens! Maybe I'm just easily pleased

I've started Persona 4 Dancing All Night yesterday and I like it so far. Story mode is a bit silly though... But the song aren't bad at all, loving what they did with the remix.
I plan to buy some song DLC, the one with Miku is at 5e, I think it's too much for just 1 song...

Man these past couple weeks have been fantastic for Vita. Been having an absolute BLAST with Risk of Rain. Can't wait for money to come in so I can buy Axiom Verge and Severed. Good times up ahead.
It's always the latest one, and not really.
Chrono Phantasma Extended. Continuum Shift Extend have a well done abridged version of the first game story mode, so you can buy it for that reason alone, but the actual game is kinda outdated.
There is no reason to buy OG Chrono Phantasma.

I can't quite tell if my OG vita has a dying battery... It seems that if it is put into sleep mode it does within 3-4 days. I'm considering getting a 2000 model but my grips won't fit and I'd have to import a replacement... I'm enjoying freedom wars and I've still got digit on cyber sleuth to get to so I know a new vita will get use but still... $250 is $250 (AU)
Freedom wars related question: is every weapon viable and does the game pick up pace? I'm at code 2 and just got whacked with a shit ton of story crap and have only just got a new mission available.

Well, it's not solid and the framedrops here and there are noticeable. But it's still fully playable und it looks good. I want this port!
This is much better than Gundam Breaker 3 in comparison. There are less mobs, it looks much worse and the framerate is absolutely terrible.

Man, for a "legacy" platform the Vita sure gets most of my money, it's hard to keep up...
I think I got about halfway through the 3DS version so I may just have to pick it up again if it's going for a reasonable price. Plus you know.. trophies.
