Damn I can't install cumulative update KB3081424 and it seems that there's a lot of people with this issue....
Workaround or solution: Deleting some obsolete entries on the registry or manually install the update... or wait for MS to fix it....

Same, but mine resets to Windows 7 at 32%. A Microsoft faq suggested uninstalling my antivirus software but that didn't help anything. No idea what's happening.Keep getting error code 0xC1900101-0x4000D on my HP Pavilion m6-1035dx after it gets to around 75-82% with the windows 10 update process. Anyone else have this issue?
This is huge for me coming from Windows 7. Makes the whole experience better.
Yep, I can turn up my music when I die in CS without tabbing out. Not revolutionary but it's nice.
Probably Dolby Home Theater or something similar. Disable it and everything will be fine.Maybe I'm imagining things, but ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 my music has sounded like absolute shit; it's muffled, the bass is too high, and it seems scratchier than it used to be.
Is this happening to anyone else? I tried looking it up online and I'm getting results for Windows 7 and 8 upgrades affecting sound, and I tried uninstalling then reinstalling the audio driver with no luck.
cortana doesn't work in the uk and xbox app is pointless unless you own an xbox. other than that its a fine OS.
Cortana has worked flawlessly for me in the UK since day 1.
Kind of a stretch but if anyone else is on Windows 10 with an AMD GPU running 15.7.1 and can't get MGSV: Ground Zeroes to run, try this, it worked for me, that was the only game that I had a problem with since switching over to W10.

it's a driver issue, roll back to 353.30, make ur custom resolutions and save them, then update to the latest driver, it will keep the resolutions, they will work, but u wont be able to add new ones after you update.
i am also having problems with gedosato, the resolutions are detected ingame, but some games gives u the option to only change resolution through launcher, and it just doesn't work, resolutions wont appear on launcher, but ingame they will.
What wifi card? Did you use the driver on the laptop manufacturer's website?I updated my dads Laptop and there are no Wireless drivers now. I identified the required drivers and installed them, but it still doesn't work.
What should I do now, other than going back to Windows 7? Please help.
Edit: Reverted back...
Just in case, download the latest wifi/ethernet drivers from your computer manufacturer's site. If you built your own PC, then download from the wifi/ethernet manufacturer's site.Think I am going to take the leap sometime today...
What do you guys recommend in terms of driver upgrades to make sure it is a smooth transition before I take the leap?

Windows 10 should handle all the other drivers.
yeah that's pretty odd imo. Out of curiosity what laptop model/manufacturer?It's a Laptop with an integrated Intel wifi chip. I used the drivers from the manufactures support page and I downloaded the latest version and previous ones from Intel. They didn't do anything and Diagnosis Test always gave me an incompatible error.
it says that cortana is unsupported in my region, which is set to the UK.

In any case, unless you have time to fiddle around (e.g. connect laptop to ethernet, update driver through windows update), there's no harm in waiting another month until the issue gets resolved.
Windows 10 is great so far.
Edge is a GREAT browser - never thought I'd use anything other than Chrome for a while.
On that note, does Edge have AdBlock?
Other features of Win 10 are awesome - it is so fast and booting w/ an SSD takes 2 seconds.
Definitely recommend upgrading to Win 10.

Hey guys,
I did a clean install of Win10. I have used the media creation tool to make a 64bit Win10 Pro.
Installed it and see that I have 32bit Win10 Home. What the hell? Did it install a wrong version for anybody here?

I just looked at mine and it says that too. Weird it was working the other day.
Just looked at my region settings and it had changed to U.S. weird.
Click "View Update History". Do you see it failing?
