Nintendo of America at the Game Developers Conference on Wednesday revealed the 2005 software lineup for its GameCube console. The list, albeit a far from complete schedule of games to be released through the end of the year, nevertheless confirmed several titles formerly suspected to be in development, and even added a few surprises. Following, the company's official lineup:

Why does Mario Baseball have to be released at the beginning of the MLB baseball season?

I'd suspect MLB Nintendo Pennant Chase will come out in June, which is still early on in the baseball season.

Maybe if they had released the realistic Zelda first and the cell shaded one later it may have been a better idea.

My take on this issue is that EAD really want to take their time with Zelda this time. Q4 is more than 2.5 years of developement. A rush job would upset a lot of fans.

WTF is Mario Kart GP? I thought that was for arcade.

The releases do really suck, I must say. I have virtually no interest in any - but a lot of interest in Zelda of course. They may as well just revamp Zelda now and concentrate launching with the Revolution. Zelda is getting NO help in the release list. I mean no one except hardcore fans gives a shit about Fire Emblem or Advance Wars ... just go read the LTD for these games on GBA. Plus they look pretty crappy from screens I've seen IMO. I guess thats just a result of Nintendo not really concentrating on making games for GC now though and outsourcing them to other companies.
