It's common knowledge that many innocent Iraqis have been killed during these house to house searches, the biggest example being Fallujah where house-sitters who wanted to prevent theives from stealing were found dead at their doorsteps, unarmed.
But this is just a crazy coincidence that will really hurt relations between the current Iraqi government and the US. That is, if this ambassador still has his job.
