Is Tales of Zesomething worth $20?

I have a lot of mixed feelings about Zestiria because it's the weakest one post-Vesperia.

The battle system is great throughout the series and this one keeps that tradition. So at least on the gameplay side is good.

My main issue is the story and characters. They aren't bad, just sub par.
I would recommend you to pick Berseria and if you like it a lot, then Zestiria.

Does BlazBlue Central Fiction ever get the English DLC? I recall how it was a possibility some months ago. If so, I may pick it up, if not, well I can keep waiting.

I don't think it ever will get an english DLC. That ship has sailed.

Hmmmm.... I think you sold me on Deception, but I see there are two Deception IVs on the store. Blood Ties (not on sale) and Nightmare Princess (on sale). Anyone have the 411 on this (could google but on the way out the door).

Nightmare Princess is the extended edition and has all the content of Blood Ties (which was already packed) and added a whole lot more.

The FF series has never been that tempting for me truthfully but the combat in this one looks a lot of fun plus that whole road trip feel is something I know I'd really enjoy.

Lego TFA worth buying?

It's eh. I sort of fizzled on it early on. It's the prettiest a Lego game has ever looked, the budget just feels higher than most. The new gimmicks aren't all that interesting though, like having choices on what to build with lego piles which leads to trial/error situations(one progresses the level, the other leads to a secret, or nothing!). It does offer new missions that flesh out certain characters and backgrounds not seen in the films, though they may be part of the season pass actually.

Still, its a pretty apt Force Awakens videogame. Follows the film closely with a dash of added comedy and the vehicle sections are pretty well done all considering.

Wait for the DLC and future patches since you already waited this much. It's a good game, but it's gonna get better and there's a certain time investment in it since it's a RPG.

Combat wise, keep your expectations in check. It's good, but only for short fights.
Long fights tend to be boring since you get stuck into a loop of doing the same attacks over and over again.

These are the games I got in my cart. Which one of these games are not worth buying? I hear Exist Archive isnt that great.

Exist Archive is a budget game and that shows really quickly. Reused enemies and environments. The battle system is similar to Valkyrie Profile, however, it falls on repetition
pretty quickly too with the better fights being some boss battles.

The game has multiple endings and some of the characters and their stories are interesting. As long as you play in short sessions (1-2 missions per day) you should be able to avoid the dreadful repetition of the game.

Valkyrie Drive is a Senran Kagura game, but without the good characters/story and the gameplay systems are even more simple which makes things dull after a while.

Both of these cases are games that have some potential, but lacked the budget to see it through. There are better things on sale

extella is a kusoge-tier musou clone. i can't comment on the visual novel which makes up the bulk of the game

That's a pity. The dub is why the series hold a special place in my heart. I can't imagine enjoying it to the same level with a Japanese dub after playing the older ones in glorious English.
