Apparently Jay-Z's company produces the halftime show, so unlikely to see any rock acts ever again. I don't get the appeal of the mor recent acts, but looking at the master list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Super_Bowl_halftime_shows it was never a real draw outside of just a couple like Prince or Michael Jackson. Always a seeming random group of mostly has-beens and it bands that faded later on. Lingerie Bowl definitely the superior option
