They really need to do something about Vancouver during winter. Whatever draws there were before completely disappear during Winter. Needs more quality indoor activity places.
Fortunately with my line of work, winter is generally ridiculously busy so I don't have much time to go out and do stuff. However, I do like going snowboarding during winter! We are so close to great snowboarding facilities so you should take advantage of that. Go ice skating in Robson square, have good hot pots, boardgame nights and all that :) Vancouver is fun if you know what you want to do. What do you want to do?

I get through winter by gaming, playing soccer and socialising with friends

To say there's nothing to do here in winter is harsh

I remember when I was younger, just ten-ish years ago, we'd get a foot or two of snow and it'd stick around a while.

It's eerie that that doesn't happen anymore.

you're a girl, aren't you

Naw.

Sorry, should have been more specific, I meant downtown.

Already do boardgames usually on Sunday in New West. :3

It's been interesting seeing how popular board games have become in the past few years. Nice resurgence for local hobby shops too. I usually buy at Magic Stronghold, Starlit Citadel, or Craving for a Game.

Though honestly I'm usually too lazy to learn a bunch of new games so I usually like sticking to stuff I've played before.

Don't resist the love connection made by me. When you two have your first kid just know he/she was made possible by me.

"Hey little tabris get your smoked brisket quick as friends is almost on"

That's The Last Emperor. He got hit by two cars last night. Y'all should drop by Royal Columbian and visit him. I'm serious, I'm typing this from his hospital bedside.

He'll probably home tomorrow. He's super lucky though, he'll be okay though, for a guy who got pinned under a car after being hit by another car.

He says "walk properly and drive properly."

Anyone interested in the short-lived Minority Report TV series? Or Backstrom, a Fox-produced procedural starring Dwight from The Office? Or the X-Files? (Is that cancelled again already, damnit Fox.)

Maynards is clearing out some junk that these ill-fated shows left behind in their studios, from 10-5 tomorrow, near the intersection of Boundary and Marine.

When Stargate SG1 left town, I got a cheap beer fridge that may have once housed Richard Dean Anderson's beer. Mmm... beer...
