I'm trying to figure out whether I need to VGA pack for the X360, and how to manage the connectors on my TVs. Most good current-model HDTV sets have both VGA and component analog connections.
The question is: Does the VGA connection actually add any benefit to the standard component HD AV pack? Or does VGA transmit the same analog information as a component connection?
Or stated differently, in the usual GAF parlance: Is the VGA HD pack a complete rip by those greedy thieving M$$ bastards???
